My dad was a Korean vet. He drank himself to death by aged 65. He cried and yelled and then he’d be fine for long periods. But it always came back. He died in 1996. Brain cancer and alcohol poisoning.

Getting to play with Bird.. Of all the teammates a player could have, Larry Bird would be by far the coolest cat to play with. He makes everyone better, works harder than everyone, hustles, unselfish, plays through hardcore injuries, and just wants to win, and does win--and when the chips are down, all you have to do is get Larry the ball and get the hell out of the way. Mama Bird is nice--she made Earvin a really nice home-cooked meal when they shot the Converse commercial in Indiana on Bird's farm with the basketball court. Magic loves Larry's mom. Bird's stories are so bizarre and some so unbelievable they almost transcend 'Legend' and go right to 'Myth'. He did many things that people just don't believe or wouldn't believe if you simply told them. Like playing, well, not just playing, but dominating and winning with a broken vertebra, or dented-in face when they broke his orbital eye bone, or a statline like 32-10-10-9-1 in 31 minutes against a Karl Malone, the record-setting +32 wins his rookie season going from one of the worst records to league best--all LEGENDARY and GOAT. I tell people he is the 61st ranked player all-time in Overall Defensive Rating (Jordan is 110th) and they don't believe that either. Bird is so good, people don't believe the facts.

I remember your first Larry Bird reaction video. We watched it together. You didn't think too much of Larry but about half way through it your understanding of our GOAT changed. Larry and I are the same age and I grew up in Texas but I watched every single game that was televised in my area. I had all his playoff games on VCR tapes. I saw him in person 3 times when he played Houston. So you and I watched your reaction. I wasn't too happy with you at first but then you came around. You fell in love with him just like all his millions of fans including me. I don't care who comes along in the game, Larry Bird will always be our GOAT. Everybody now days thinks Lebron is so great. I wonder if Lebron had no muscles, couldn't run, couldn't jump and had a broken back for half of his career, Just how fucking good would he really be? What would he really accomplish in 13 years? Not a damn thing. Lebron doesn't have the WILL, the toughness to play thru tremendous pain, or the wisdom of the game, Lebron needs so much help to win it all, He jumps from team to team to try to get that super team, Looks like he is jumping again to the Warriors. So you see with all his accomplishments he is not even half as good as Larry Bird! Larry Bird accepted the team he was given and willed them to greatness and when he had to he carried them all on his broken back. He didn't need a super team, He made a super team by leading and demanding them to be the best team in the NBA. How could you not play great alongside Larry Legend. I rest my case!!!

But two players I would like to see you do some reaction videos on is Dominique Wilkins (my second favorite player of all time) who played with the ATL Hawks which is my favorite team. Then I would like to see you do some on Jason (White Chocolate) Williams, who may not have been the greatest assist leader of all time but in my eyes he was without a doubt the greatest passer of all time when it comes to creativity and eye popping passes. The guy made passes that other players wouldn’t have even dreamed of trying because of degree of difficulty and he made them look easy.
