2010 was absolutely turned to a SuperCheat Team of Lebron and Durant joining multiple superstars and MVP level players so they could win very easy Championships. 2000 and 1990 the hardest era to win.

Great video. But I have to disagree on the 2010s being ranked higher, even though it was slightly higher. The 2010s defense being “more intricate” just isn’t so. Position-less basketball and high (and illegal) pick and rolls is just a bunch of switching to get an open look. Where’s the defense when you shoot 10 feet beyond the arc? In the 2000s, you couldn’t switch on Shaq, Robinson, Duncan, Dirk, Garnett, etc… they would take advantage of a size matchup. So you had to get back to your man on defense. 2000s was more of a chess match, 2010s is checkers. Just a bunch of fast movement all over the board. But you had to be strategic in the 2000s and prior. I enjoy your content. Keep up the good work!

Appreciate it and I understand your breakdown it was tough and rethinking it I feel I short changed the 2000s slightly with the scores

@@goatcasthoops slightly? You talking about the most defensive era. 95 to 05 was peak basketball. Both sides of the ball mattered. Players like Rodman and Ben Wallace made otherworldly impacts by being defensive powerhouses. They couldn't even play in the 10s because the league would punish them. Not because of rule changes but because of "star power." Dray would be kicked out of the league if he didnt play with Steph. Its that simple. Smarten up.

2000’s will always win cause I’m biased lol. I think they have the best “Era” lineup of them all thus far. On a more objective note, I think the 2000’s had more variety in the star players and team identities. I don’t it as a Kobe vs LeBron

Ah Balco don't have an era. You must be a winner not a loser to have an era. Sorry this is a no brainer. Kobe 2000s he dominated it. He might have Shaq in 2000-02 as top players but mid to 2010 it's just Kobe. Balco was there, swept in the finals not reaching the playoffs wven he gor another all star in Z in his first 2 yrs. Not reaching NBA finals even he was provided all the help that a lone Alpha can have. Shaq was averagjng Pau's numbers in 09 before Balco used him as his rebounder the next year. 2011-present NBa is just trash. It should be categorized same as WWE.
