Antawn Jamison was a very decent and good basketballer. I think he averaged 20 points 12 rebounds consistently maybe 5 assists. And was not a complainer even though he didn’t have enough help. He just always did the best he could. He would probably make a good mentor/ coach for some of the younger guys. It would be good to see his life story/ upbringing or just have him do like podcasts where he teaches on life lessons.

the story about Team USA going out to the club one night, while Kobe stayed at the hotel.... Gave me goosebumps.... Everyone was getting back from the club at 4:30-5:00am, and while everyone was walking through the lobby to go to their rooms to get sleep and recover, Kobe walked by with his gym bag and sneakers, heading to the gym to get a workout. Everyone was in shock at how dedicated he was to himself and the game, even during a special event like Team USA. Mr. Bryant was a different breed

@ignoblesavage5559 Жыл бұрын
@@drew4176 yeeaahh, just another failure of Kobe's career...in a career filled with failure, right? Nope. Fact is, outside of the 60s Celtics teams, ALMOST EVERY SINGLE team & player "failed" in every season. The reality of sports is that only 1 title is awarded every year. Anyway, you DO know the year he's talking about was '12-'13, right? Kobe was no longer able to sustain great effort & performances every single night, from the accumulation of ALL THOSE INJURIES... With an also-declining Pau & Artest...but also, D. Howard was a total prima donna, & injured. Nash was always injured, & the other teammates were guys like: Jamison, Earl Clark, Steve Blake, & Jodie Meeks. That year they were WELL OUT of the playoff picture (17-25) past the midway point, & Kobe went NUTS. They were 20-26...he led them on an 8-4 stretch to get to 28-30...then Kobe led them to a respectable 8-2 then he got hurt, even missed 2 games...suddenly they had lost 3 straight & were 36-35. Even with doubts about the heavy minutes (41, 42, 45, 47, 47, & 48 minutes!) on really bad knees & a mangled shooting hand, Kobe put that team on his shoulders to close 7-2 & grab the playoff spot before the Achilles happened & ruined the rest of his career. Kobe averaged 29 pts, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, great throwback defense in the effort department, doing whatever it took to win & PUT them in the playoffs, while guys like Nash & Artest & Gasol & Howard missing games (they only played more than 2 guys off the bench over Kobe's last 9 game stretch, that's how thin that team was. Still: from 20-26 to 43-37. 26-12 from a REALLY old & beat-up team (including KB), led by an epic effort from Old Kobe to get to the playoff position...pretty fun but scary stretch (bc all the announcers would talk about was Kobe's health & all the minutes & maniacal effort he gave) to watch. Now, did Kobe & his teams fail much more after the achilles rupture? Duh...but only the haters choose to focus on those & use those years & stats to try to take the gloss off his career. The guy was a WINNER. Even if he DIDNT win a title every year or even every other year.

@@12savage68 see you don't understand the point but nice try with this ignorant comment. On that same missed shots lists is lebron Jordan and Kareem 😭😭😭😭. So yeah Kobe has great company. Not to mention they all are top scoring ok
