2 things. 1: Kobeni really just came out of nowhere. Literally a single frame happened and she was suddenly behind Akane. There was no sound indication, no footsteps, not a single thing that showed where she was or how she managed to get to Akane so quickly. Now THAT.... That is TRULY terrifying. 2: Look at the way that Kobeni is holding the knife. I'm pretty sure I've NEVER seen someone hold a knife that way. She would have done it. If Aki hadn't said a word, Kobeni would have sliced Akane's head clean off-- which isn't really an improvement for Akane's situation considering what she ends up doing to herself.

I put kobeni in the same league as denji and power in terms of craziness. I never expected her to answer "we are about to get our bonuses so i didnt quit" to aki's question. And this implies this girl is more than meets the eye. Akane didnt even use snake until himeno used full power of ghost. Heck, akane never used snake against denji or aki as well. But as soon as kobeni pulled up with a knife, she immediately uses snake without a second thought and the only thing on her mind was to escape with katana devil in ep 8. Crazy right? Yeah kobeni is crazy af. And just like others i also believe that kobeni has contract with luck devil or fear devil which feeds on kobeni's fear. And dont forget she offed that old lady without a second thought with her own gun. Its like something snapped inside her and devil took over as soon as arai dies saving her. But then again you remember that she is scared shitless due to infinity devil and couldnt perform at all. But himeno did say that even tho she might appear a scaredy cat, kobeni is skilled af.
