What a great video! Lots of cool rides and characters. I miss living around the corner in OB. I built a 66 and a 59 bug around 2003 in the alleys of OB with good friends. If I lived there I would have definitely been there for the swap and show!

The real shame about the VW type one and two is it’s so damn hard to get anyone to work on them. I’ve had a 65 when I first got out of the service in 65, a baywindow after I got married in 79 and now an 84 Vanagon now that I’m 75 and can’t work on cars. No one in Tennessee or Arkansas that I can find will touch my Vanagon. They aren’t set-it-and-forget-it vehicles. They need valve adjustments all the time and other drivetrain work every year.

I can't get over all the beat-up dilapidated Rust-buckets. These shows are usually featuring Vintage restored, or like-NEW vehicles. Some of these look like they just got pulled from the salvage yard 😳.

That tent is OG westy 😍🚌⛺️🙌 nice as they come 🥰 the Kobeys swap meet show is a really good one. Definitely worth checking out. San Diego has some good shows. A good one is coming up on September 11th in imperial beach 🏖 🚌
