Angela Waltner established her workshop in Berlin in 2002. Her classical guitars reflect an intensive examination of essential European sound traditions and the requirements of the guitar as a concert instrument. She particularly emphasises tonal and stylistic openness and close body-instrument connection. In 2017 she received a Master degree in acoustics with a research paper on the projection of the classical guitar. In addition to building guitars, she also focuses on the sound adjustment on the finished instrument.
