Phuong Thanh But that’s just it. Her dramas do well but her level of popularity in Korea doesn’t correlate to her dramas doing well. Also, her last big drama was a family drama. If you had to “rank” dramas, if you are a big star you do mini dramas or get certain days of the week airing time slots. For all the talent she has and all her hard work I don’t think she has received corresponding success. I don’t think people understand what it means when an actor starts doing family dramas. It’s like Tom Cruise all of a sudden doing prime time sitcoms. Even if the sitcom is really popular it’s not the same. Having viewership doesn’t translate to popularity, how much you’re paid and whether you get a lot of CFs. Don’t understand what people are arguing about with this thread. I’m saying she’s underrated and should be treated better. Are people who disagree think she shouldn’t be treated better? Well, if that’s your opinion then I can’t argue with that.

@@grn_appls7207 she's well-known though... i don't think she's underrated as well... her dramas did really great. it doesn't mean that you do family dramas you are not as successful as actors who does mini dramas...her last drama was really popular in korea... you also have to know that even some mini series from popular actors doesn't do well in korea...sometimes there some that only do well internationally. And mostly family dramas get really high viewership in korea...

The amount of hate she's getting from netizens sort of made stay away from limelight for a while. Anyway I'm glad she's doing well. I mean haters gonna hate, she's rich and famous and beautiful. Not To Mention Anyone She has started acting career since she was active AS member & has been doing well. Their company didn’t care about the group & wasted their great talents so eventually the girls left the group one by one , some got married & have children & others like Uee & Nana focused on their acting career

Kim Nana yes i know abt it, but i mean between Uie and other members in terms of personal matter. Back then, when Uie was going to move from Pledis, she had never seen around others, like hanging out or in others SNS post. Especially on Juyeon's part, we know they are close friend right? Then she lost weight to take on wider range of characters knetz started commenting she was addicted to plastic surgery. Also when she was in the relationship with Kangnam and refused at first they started again. They ended up breaking up and Uee suffered from severe panic attack while shooting her drama

Uee was my fav idol when I was deep down in kworld. It was so annoying to see that Koreans always dragged her down (bcs she was top in after school,ads,dramas) about her weight, chubby face and after she lost all of her weight, they wanted old her back. I wish her happiness from deep down my heart it is so hard to be a famous ppl in Korea since they think that you and your life are their property, they can criticized whatever they want and then they mess up with your mental/body health.
