I could perfectly imagine this playing during the credits of some hard oldschool game. Makes you feel like you just saved the world and now you'Re finally going home, back to your family and happiness

I second that. 👍

Awesome! The first song I listened from you was 'Legend of the Black Sun'. It's a total masterpiece. I wish you could record your songs with real instruments.

Thanks, yeah I also wish I could

Works best on ending and credits from a retro game.

Have you tried recording this and your other work with Guitar Pro 6 or even real sounds from a sound bank? It would sound much better, though you would have to do some readjusts in the tab. But it will surely be worth it :)

I've tried some sound engines like the one from Guitar Pro, Slayer VST, Amplitube Metal and V-metal. It's all a lot of work to adjust a tab with many notes to make it sound cool. One example is kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5_GZICLqaxmq5I But for other Instruments like Keyboards, choir, flute, etc. I would also use Kontakt 5... I think actually the hardest work is to adjust the guitar effects to make the midis sound like real instruments. Nothing sounds as cool as real recordings though... for example this guy: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZXSY5yKgpunn7M

Sounds great. Have you thought about using those hollywood instruments? This guy Peter Crowley uses them in his fantasy music and sounds fantastic, it is not the same style as yours but for those epic brass sections and the string ensemble I think it would be great. They also have guitars of course. By the way, I am missing the Legend of the Black Sun :P Maybe you could arrange versions for piano solo. I got once the midi of dragons revenge and listened to it only played by pianos. It sounded great! :)

Haha, I dunno about Legend of the black sun, I'd have to capture the whole song in one go with MidiTrail... and I dunno if the program can handle that. And yeah I got Symphobia 2 for keyboard sections, sounds rad! But requires a lot of changes in the midi too. I think a lot about writing whole symphonic epic metal albums in the style of OLD Rhapsody but I got no motivation since I can't play any instrument good enough for live shows lol. About piano versions: it's very easy, open the tab in guitar pro and change the instruments, of course you can switch from tab view to notation if you wanna.

I can't play good enough either but I'd like to transform all my songs in a good quality to share them and enjoy them. I have been trying different programs, such as guitar pro and sforzando (which is great but the problem is not multitrack) and sonatina symphonic orchestra. I heard about Cubase, but I couldn't figure out how it worked, I guess I'll have to give it a try once more :P I hope you change you mind and "upgrade" your music to a better quality one, I think you have talent.

Thanks, yeah Cubase is only as good as the plugins and VSTs that you're using, so I think it doesn't matter which DAW you're using. The most stable ones are the best. And if I had the time and motivation, I would definitely record the songs and do a few upgrades, especially Legend of the Black Sun (I would probably rewrite or remove some parts though), but I don't have any pro equipment and/or software, so the best I can do is not good enough to make a "final version". Although I'm very tempted to make a completely new Epic Metal album with Symphobia and stuff after listening to Rhapsody's Into the Legend... can't make realistic guitar sounds though, best I can get it: record parts slower, speed up, then add distortion and stuff. Also, I'm very bad at mixing..... and that's the most crucial part to make it sound awesome.
