Great video, I test driven a 2.0tdi Dsg recently and loved how the car responds compared to my 1.6 tdi golf. May be ordering a Lauren & Klement spec in a few weeks time.

The rubber bubbles in the bottle holder (beside the handbrake) are for opening the bottle with one hand. Because of the bubbles the bottle will not turn if you try to open it.

As expected, the manual is more responsive and has no delay at all. My stepdad has just bought one and it is quite nippy, keeps up with the local RS3 yob on my estate.

@@EqualsDeath But you can't feel an automatic which is my point. An Auto is no fun to drive, maybe for showing off yes but there is no joy in it. Manuals you have more control over the car and as they say, you are driving the car, the car isn't driving you.

Good video , i buy my one in march but pick up next monday 3.7.17. Octavia combi 1.6 tdi DSg 7speed style ver. I can't wait , last 3 months was like 3 years ;) My problem is , dealer dont offer me to much from add extra , he just want to sell next car. Now i know my car missing interior led , driving mode , canton sound system , front led lamp amd fev more , anyway. That my first brand new car , but if i know about all missing stuff , i will buy L&K ver. that was only 3k euro different. Next time i will be smarter , anyway i still happy . Damian Kozlowski well if you bought a standard style pack. Maybe you can ask if they would instead take a new order on that L&K instead? It's far stretched but worth a try asking. You spend more money. But you have to wait more. And they sell one you order any way if it's standard style package they order them anyway regularly.

Josip Ricov Yes I got standard because he tell me the style version have high standards so I think have led and fev more but I wrong. Him job is selling everything not just standard that him money to. Now to late for swap I don't want to wait again, but next time I will know more. Thx for answer

2.0 is smoother.

Only Octavia except 2.0 tsi tsi and/or RS has independent suspension. Also the interior is a bit obsolete. Is it worth of aiming to 2.0 tdi DSG in Octavia in configuration? Little more snd you could get 1.5 tsi Superb 6M.

I think that 2.0 tdi doesn't have multilink suspension. Only 1.8 tsi and RS version have it.

What about Start Stop and cruise control? You told us about a radar. How it work? By the way, nice review

Cirstea Radu SS works in trafic when you press the break paddle all the way, when you fully stop the car. When you lift up foot from the break paddle engine turns on. Cruise control is straight forward on left liver, turn the switch on, and lock the speed. With side buttons you can set speed. Radar is adaptive, you can set speed and three levels of distance or sensitivity. Can work up to 160 km/h.
