Utah does a good job with their state parks. I think you are right about people not having time to fit in Kodachrome. I've done 4 of the mighty 5 in 4 different trips. I visited Kodachrome after Bryce but did not camp because I had to get back home. I am at the point where camping trips are separate from going to the National Parks. Very exhausting to mix the two. Easier to stay in a lodge/cabin/motel when visiting the park attractions and camp out when I just want to relax camping. At least for me. Thanks for doing these videos.

thanks! I'm with you about camping in big, crowded parks. Had my fill this past summer!

hI Glenn and Amy. I just happened to have a brochure book called Grand Circle with Arizona, Colorado, Nevada New Mexico, and Utah. A circle of all the states is mapped out to drive. Kodachrome Basin is a beautiful area and the campgrounds are spacious. I got a nice map of Utah at our visitor center here in Montrose too. Thanks for the campground tour. Maybe, just maybe, I will rent a motor home and take a trip there.

I found this channel! I didn't realize it was CampV-u-e and I couldn't find the link. I have several horror stories about campground neighbors, as do most campers. I was a BLM campground host on the Trinity River in CA for a few months. I only ejected people once, but I addressed EVERY complaint immediately, day and night It was either get quiet or I'm calling the law. No Nonsense.. I wish other campgrounds did as much.

On my travels I have seen some great hosts, and those who did nothing. Usually it was volunteers at large parks who were doing it so they could have a free place to camp so they could get wilderness permits easier and stuff like that who were not very attentive. I suspect some did not realize in a way it can be a customer service job, meaning sometimes you have to deal with unpleasant people. On the other hand, some were excellent, and that was usually at smaller places like National Forest campgrounds.
