Actually....I had the same exact thing happen to me in Nevada, ran out of fuel bringing it from Wisconsin to California. It was about 7° out and a cop helped me in the same way, spent 3 hours with me on the side of the road untill I got it started, also got gas for me so ya, God bless these troopers

You might want to get a new fuel gage and I would recommend and back up tank like a secondary tank or like one of those that you put on the bed of the truck and i don’t know to much about Chevys I worked mostly fords and Cummins but I completed my first year of diesel mechanics so I have a little knowledge of how these beast work and hope you have a good rest of the trip with the Kodiak
