Ganondorf is such a strange character. Everything about him screams awful in Melee meta. Yet that little extra juice they gave his moves really make it awkward to contest sometimes.

Proof that Ganondorf/Marth is more even than people realize. Ganon destroys Marth when he wins the spacing war, it just takes some borderline God-level spacing like Mekk had for most of the set. He also only needs maybe 5-6 hits to kill Marth, while Marth has to chip so much damage if he doesn't get an edge guard.

agreed. This is easily ganons best top tier matchup. Marth has no crouch cancel to use against him, his shield is super sus and as soon as he leaves the ground it can get dicey real quick.

We've been seeing more mid tiers going up lately, it's kind of amazing and really some good, happy news for Melee. More variety is always welcomed, makes the game more entertaining to watch, maybe draw some more people and some who left that thought that was it for Melee.
