I have siblings that live out of state. I make it a point for us to do FaceTime so my children can know their aunts, uncles, and cousins. I have a sister that passed away 10 years ago, and I share pictures and stories of her so they know their aunt. You don’t have to travel just to have a relationship. In this day and age we are blest with technology to make this possible.

Maddie's no idiot. It's not just that Kody hasn't seen his granddaughter since she was born. She's probably very aware that he refused to be with Ysabel (the sister who lived with Maddie and Caleb while she was going to college) for her surgery, but could go to a wedding in Oklahoma and dance like a doofus. The thing that's being left out is Robyn's childhood trauma matches what she did to her kids. This was not a fight. This was a Kody tantrum with Robyn 'momming' him to de-escalate. Kody is not listening to Robyn. He is ego-broken, not heartbroken. He is manipulating Robyn. The subtext is, “I gave up everyone for you and you don’t appreciate it!” Also paraphrased, “This has hurt US more than it has hurt THEM (aka THESE PEOPLE). I want to work on US first. You are the person I love most in the world." Kody did not take in a word Robyn said about any of his kids needing him or working on his relationships. Robyn is distracted by him refocusing on her. Robyn enabled him yet again.

The only thing keeping Robyn there is that she has already given one husband the heave ho, and her children and the world know it. And this one adopted her older kids so she is in a tough spot, luckily for Kody, at least for now. Robyn is now dealing with the effects of Kody never growing up and never having to face his responsibilities. He used to run to another wife to gossip and complain about his other wives, never learning to deal what others needed or his own emotions. The entire family has been and is slimed by his actions and Robyn is now the deserving recipient of his reluctance or inability to act like a man. His maturity level is that of a 16 year old boy and he is now incapable of seeing his fault in all of this mess that he helped create. “He is ego-broken, not heartbroken.” It looks like TLC is doing their best to rehab Robyn’s reputation but in my opinion, it’s too little too late. She let the family drown until it affected her reputation and how she looked to the world. Now it’s an issue? Robyn and Kody deserve one another.

While she may know these things are true, she is telling them to Kody to rehabilitate her image. I think that at least 98% of her motivation for saying these things to Kody are self-serving. I think Robin has always known kody needs to be challenged. She was just happy to let the other wives take care of that previously so she could be the favorite, but now she's the only one left to do it.

How can Robyn say that Kody is emotional over Meri leaving ? Kody has said he has been over Meri for a long time. He said he did not consider himself married to her. He said he just wants Meri to go away. He said he was relieved she was gone. That doesn't sound like he's sad about Meri leaving. How can Robyn be sad over the family falling apart ? She kept Kody away from his other family members. She interfered with relationships. She wouldn't let any of the wives watch her kids. She wouldn't let anyone come to her house. During the global pandemic, landlords were not allowed to get renters out if they could not pay. Kody wants his sons on the street because they are over 18 & need to get out. So in polygamy kids are literally kicked out of the house at 18. Wow what a great faith. Does not explain that Robyn's kids are still living in the mansion & past 18. These Browns are the worst. Not all kids are able to move out at 18. What if you are in college. You have to pay for your college & are out of the house? Do not remember the Browns kicking out kids at 18. They never explained that cozy fact in early years.

My husband went no contact with his dad. His step mother wouldn’t leave us alone about it. She pestered us for YEARS to reconcile which he had no interest in. I did try to talk it out with him but sometimes things get bad enough you’re just done and want to be left alone. Robyn reminds me a lot of his step mom. Not to defend kody. I just think he’s been SO horrible they may genuinely want him to leave them alone.
