The first few notes hit, and I already started crying. This movie means so much to me. It helped get me out of a very dark place in my life, and it's been helping me push forward. I can see myself in Shouya, and seeing him finally learn to forgive himself at the end of the movie completely broke me; and then the credits played, and all I can remember is the raw emotion that I felt in the theatre. It felt...liberating in a way. Like, I was crying hard, but it was a healthy cry. This movie became a type of therapy for me, and whenever I find that I'm feeling down, I always go back to this film; and even through I always end up crying by the end of it, it leaves me refreshed, and it helps me to forgive and love myself. Sorry if this is a rant. It's something that I needed to say. Thank you for this amazing cover, Theishter. Seriously...thank you.

Don’t apologize for your feelings, they are valid. I can agree with you.. I was in your shoes a while back, I was angry all the time and didn’t want to show my emotions. I guess what I’m trying to say is that the main characters plot line also connects to me on a personal level and I know how you feel. Please never stop doing what you love and what makes you happy! Whether it is playing the piano or maybe something else~ I have noticed your decrease in views and I am very sad about this. Of course it's not all about that. But I know how frustrating it can be. I was thinking about some piano related video ideas for you. Sadly, regularity is key on youtube right now. But making full fledged piano arrangements on your level isn't something you can do 1-3 times a week. Maybe you could try something like [Anime opening x but it's played by anime character y]. For example you could play some calm or emotional anime song but it's played by Saitama. It would be a much more "agressive" and fun arrangement of the song. Which wouldn't really fit the song, but that's what makes it interesting for you and the viewers. It could also add some comedy touch to your videos. The other way around you could make an energetic, fun anime song but it's played by Kaneki. That would be a sad but also bi-polar arrangement of the song. While a version played by another character might be just straight sadness. While a version of another character might be a sad but innocent version of the song. Always depending on the character you "play" as. I'm not sure about these examples, but I just wanted to get you thinking. Of course I love your OG piano covers, I grew up on them. I was just thinking of ways to make your videos more appealing to the current youtube situation. Have a beautiful day~!
@TehIshter5 жыл бұрын
That's ok, I no longer seek views. I've had my time back when the algorithm was going my way. It's time for others to shine. Of course, my tone will change when I can't pay the rent or bills, but I still can have a sustainable financial health with my current situation and so it's not a problem right now. I will only mass produce videos when I am forced to (income suffers and I can't pay bills). For now, it's going great and therefore I can make music in the quality I'd like with the songs I like, even if it's not the most recent and most popular.

You know... It takes a bit to get me to cry, I am not a huge fan of the term “masterpiece” very much and feel it is thrown around too much in a lot of cases, and I don’t give many 10/10’s when it comes to most things. But you know what? A Silent Voice is not only a true masterpiece, is a 10/10, and I cried out a lake of tears rather loudly for a good half hour after I watched it. Not only my favorite anime of all time, but my favorite movie of all time as well. Saying Masterpiece still doesn’t do this movie anywhere near enough justice to me... I absolutely love the ending song as well, and your piano arrangement of it is masterful. A Silent Voice/Koe no Katachi is a very powerful and sad, yet beautiful and touching masterpiece.

Just... Crying here until 2021 arrives This was one of the songs I wanted to learn when I just started. But I ended up playing the other soundtrack of it because it's too hard for me. I will be finally an 88-key user in a next few days because my father brought me one. The movie hits harder for me than other well-known movies like Your Name, ghibli movies, and other shinkai's movies. It was the first anime that made me cry, and it lasted for a few hours and ended up having anxieties for a few years, that I couldn't focus properly in my junior high school days. This year, I dreamt about my classmate whom I confessed to, and it happened three times. The second one was the one that made me suddey awake and tears were pouring out from my eyes. I just felt my heart aching. I didn't told her about this. The smell of the days we were still in school, came back and made me cry even harder. I really doubted myself that I didn't talked with her when she sat beside me for no reason. "Why do you chat with others, but not me?" Those were the words I can only remember from her. If only, just only, I could reply her properly.

Ahhhh, best part of my day was listening to this. Thanks for blessing my ears💛 2:31 the ease into the next section was so smooth it gave me shivers~ The coolest part of this piece and the rest of the music from A Silent Voice is how instrumental the silence is in shaping each part, each character, each emotion😊 beautiful

I don’t watch animes at all, but this movie was a MASTERPIECE! I cried so hard and loved it! It made me wanna go bag to drawing anime characters.
