It's almost unbelievable how much faith and care for Subaru she has even though she knows she will probably never get together with Subaru after that rejection in episode 18...I wish I could have someone who could also give the same, unshakable care for me as Rem does for Subaru...#TeamRem forever :') Re:Zero is an anime that has made me breathe in relief because it's not full of clichés, rather it's full of outstandingly beautiful story and character development. Not to also mention these OST's...it effectively portray's the character's feelings (in this case, Rem's wish to be with Subaru forever). I think it's time that I've also stopped being lazy and pick up my lazy ass and post some transcriptions on my channel. Another awesome job Ishter! :3

It's a COMPLETE DECONSTRUCTION of the fantasy world. The MC is actually human (*cough* plot armor Kirito god mode *cough*) and actually capable of realistic character development like a true person. Lots of respect for Subaru. Also, the glowing kindness in Rem's heart puts her as #1 spot anime waifu. Truly the waifu we need, but we don't deserve... Good luck with your arrangements man, let Rem's motivation flow through~

In the scene where Subaru was talking to Rem in the anime, in the light novel Rem says I don't mind being your second wife and Subaru said he would accept the offer if Emilia allowed polygyny, then Rem said she would try her best to convince Emilia xD. Dunno why it wasn't added to the scene in the anime, would have been entertaining to see :(

Same here. Rem give all of us what a couple should be. A total faith, a total support, a total sacrifice, and a total love. So sad yet so dramatic. It's make my heart hurt so much when subaru rejects rem confession. But it's what make the story wonderful. The author of rezero, the character designer of rezero, white fox as studio which make the anime, all the voice actor, and all the composer. They all awesome people making awesome masterpiece.

I don't know why, i'v watched the scene when rem got rejected, i've heard the original song, nothing happen. But when i hear this cover, the scene rolled out again in my head,feel totally heartbreaking till cry wkwkwkwk. Nice picking notes, keep up!

Rem is probably best waifu material. But Emilia-tannnnnnnn ;-; I dunno why but I want Subaru to end up with Emilia even though Rem is best girl... I mean when you way the pros and cons you'll find that with Rem: She has mad maid skills, cooks, cleans, cares, and you also have Ram in case you want a 3-way [ ;) you sickos.] And with Emilia you only really have a naive girl trying to become Queen.

idk if its because i don't watch enough anime but this anime really just screams and spells out tragic. its such a tragic anime. I have lost count of how many moments my soul were clinging onto my heartstrings because of how intensely suspenseful the scenes are. the plot development may look slow but that very slow development pulls me in like a quick sand and suddenly i am just drowning with so many emotions but the only word that i can say is tragic.

Don't get too excited, but I think it is definitely worth watching even if you don't like the first few episodes. I think this show is done really well with a weekly format, so you can take it slow and read r/anime discussion threads.

***** Fuck off. Elves in general are shit. Fantasy race for the lowest-possible-denominator. On top of that, the only remarkable thing about Emilia is how mediocre she is. Another boring-ass first-girl-protagonist-meets character. It's a shame Rem is given such a fate- or rather that the author made such a good girl get thrown aside to stir up some shitty drama.

another salty rem fan. to b honest boy, the story is still ongoing and what we've seen in the anime is just the prologue of the real story of re zero. later on (arc 4 light novel , takes place after episode 25) a big tragedy happened and Subaru tells Emilia "I love rem".

(Also, I prefer Rem to Emilia because Emilia helped a bit for first half of anime, but then Rem saved Subaru so many times. I see no wrong in Emilia, but doesn't mean I don't resent her and Subaru because Subaru chose her)
