I Crash Tested LEGO Cars...

I apologise if the idea of this video isn’t completely clear to some of you. I am aware of the fact that real cars have crumple zones, and that no damage doesn’t directly mean it has a high crash rating. All I wanted to do was to give my cars ratings according to how much damage they had as I wanted to see which ones are built the strongest. I hope to bring some clarity with this, thank you all for the support!

Cars are designed to crumple because that absorbs the kinetic energy instead of launching passengers to any direction. The airbag was cool tho

Car designers call that the “Crumple Zone” because if the car crumples, then the impact is softer.

Actually car crashes are safer when the front crumples. Even if you are still in one piece on a very solid car, you absorbed most of the shock of the impact.

but the problem is, this is Lego we're talking about. those Lego cars will be played by kids left to right. if it crumbles like a real car, that kid who crashed the car will cry non-stop. because unlike real cars, there are no laws for those.

Lego cars don't really get damaged when they crash but sometimes they don't break or sometimes they loose a little bit of pieces but when you are carrying them and accidently drop them, then they will be damaged catastrophically

I have both Pagani Utopia and Lotus Evija. Their fronts have almost same strength but in the rear Lotus is weak and Pagani is almost invulnerable (not counting the part in the bottom)

Think your cars are still stronger then mine, I build mine to have opening bits which really cut into the structure. Most of them have front fenders that are only held on with a single stud behind the front wheel and sometimes another stud in front of it.

I once bought a lego crane so I decided to recreate what the mythbusters did to their car so I attached a car to the top of the crane, put it on the top of a recliner and dropped it and the car actually survived due to the fact I dropped it on carpet 😂😂😂
