KOF XIII TRIALS CAN'T BEAT ME...

I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THESE TRIALS ARE SO DIFFICULT! I'm back... YET AGAIN... with another attempt at the King of Fighters XIII trials. I'm not sure how my brain can handle these strenuous, hand-breaking trials, but I won't be beaten that easily!

If "speed kills" was a fighting game character then it would be Leona. All her combos are speed based. On a side note I would like to thank Justin for helping me improve in fighting games. I didn't know anything about frame data and stuff like that cause I always reacted on instinct. Would like to try fighting games with arcade stick now

Leona is so much fun. She definitely feels much easier on a square gate stick to me compared to octo gate or a dpad. Also it was cool of Justin to shout out Juicebox. Juicebox' juicy bits videos were super helpful to me back in the day when I was playing KoF13 a lot.

i remember watching the Leona basics when i tried Leona as my first character and first KOF game, It helped me greatly with charged characters overall as I never found it enjoyable but still decided to put some effort on it. Doing the trial and messing arround in training with Leona was really fun and I don't regret the time spent on the trials. I remember going for Vatista trials in Unist just after to try out another charge character from my favorite game.

I can’t believe the game is such a troll. The second to last Leona trial has the last super being done with a TK input making you think that’s how you’re supposed to do it but you can just jump and then do the super and the combo still works fine lol

9:15 would have been really fun if he completed it at that attempt because he started the combo with Jump C instead of Jump D, so the combo never really started for the game. His face after the Neo Max connected and the challenge kept going would have been priceless.

The level of skill required to actually beat these combos I've never seen anyone actually do it other than the demos Justin Wong was the first I've ever seen do it in my about to be 27 years existence on Mar 4.

The charge time in KOF is only 30 frames I believe so it’s pretty lenient on the charge time

@@matejstemberk8110 frames aren’t important; the key idea is that charging doesn’t take that long. Besides you only really have to charge for the moon slasher since u can just drive cancel it by inputting fwd hk.

You see all these complex motions, but the combos usually just end up being "Do this special into this special, repeat over and over, do an ender." Not saying that's a bad thing, since the animations are great, but I just wished the combos were more visually diverse to make up for the oddly technical way they are done.
