Even in Jamaica most these niggas who Rasta or otherwise they run into something different they gonna try to fuck that’s real shit. Aside from that a lot of rasta dudes create broken homes. A lot of rastas don’t be taking care of their children. A lot of Rasta’s aren’t intelligent enough to articulate their political views You can’t have the kind of rhetoric that Rastafarism usually has and not condemn the people who doing the kinda shit we talking about. They let a lot slide. But wanna talk about koffee and like her music trash lmaooo some Afro beats bullshit shit is not no real reggae/dancehall But to give them some grace we don’t talk too often about how a lot of Rastafarian political leaders who was killed in the 70’s by the CIA but that’s another conversation.

African hair is a work of art and a symbol of cultural identity and expression. The way one chooses to wear their hair should not be judged or associated with any particular religion or stereotype. Locks have been a part of African culture and history for thousands of years, dating back to ancient Egypt and other civilizations. It's a rich and diverse heritage that should be celebrated and respected. Everyone should be free to wear their hair in a way that makes them feel confident and comfortable, without fear of judgment or discrimination. Let's embrace and appreciate the beauty of African hair in all its forms! Remember, hair is a form of self-expression and a way to connect with one's culture and identity. Let's keep promoting positivity, inclusivity, and acceptance!

I have never regarded her as Rasta but a progressive human being wanting the best for humanity through her music. Telling people to turn away from negativity and embrace livity and one does not have to be a Rasta to do that. Koffee is not pushing gayness and she is not pushing counterproductive death and destruction, murder music. Yet these bad-mind Rasta’s are quiet when it comes to murder death and destruction counterproductive music and the dutty DJ who spouts it, because duppy know who fih frighten. When dutty dancehall artist Mavado sings: “Mi cut a newborn throat, cause you know me nuh play” Where was the outrage from these Rasta’s who cannot deal with the idea of Koffee’s perceived private sexuality. Alkaline - Microwave: “.357 Buss it splash him all over di place, head over deh so. Foot chop off a grung a wiggle and a shake, nuh weh fi tun go. No weh fi run go. Throw tire pon you, gas light you and bun you.” If you dissect and analyze the lyrical content of these dutty-dancehall artist, then you will understand why the murder rate is so high and our society is failing. Our popular culture normalizes counterproductive, dysfunctional murderous lifestyle and real reggae artist are afraid to call out the likes of Kartel, Alkaline and Mavado to name a few.

Facts between dance halls and hippo two most violent lyrics. No one wants to talk about what it’s doing to the minds of people all age
@rochellemorgan79405 күн бұрын
Ah TRUE FACTS!!! 👀Growing up in the Caribbean, I was proud of my culture. When my parents moved to the UK, mi eyes dem opened... 👀👀though still repping my cultural background and roots,👊 I had seen the way music influences the minds of people... soca is really sexualised and when in a dance, especially carnival times... U ah see pure sexual moves pon di floor even full blown acts pon di road to da music... The more you listen, the more you want to perform the lyrics... which has inspired toxic relationships with unplanned pregnancies where children suffer the consequences because of lust... Same with dancehall... it's instigates violence and sexual immorality... and when you play it again and again, your mind subconsciously is programme for that... in the UK, carribean music (dancehall, soca) is big even patwa is ingrated in native english slang. You see, a lot of young people act out lyrics... crime amoung the youth is high in London especially... 💔So yes, we need Fi call out Di Artist dem... for they are the ones that influence people, especially the youths, in a negative way... Lyrics need to change... more positive lyrics The enemy was grand at music, so don't be surprised why music is powerful...💁♀️ Also, Rasta is not a religion it's a way of life... They are many Types of Rasta people... some adhere to the WORD... and some don't, but they live accordingly to an Ital way of living... Having dreadlocks does not make you a Rasta. It has been a form of hairstyle before Rastafari for over millennium... Dating back to Egyptians. Also, even though I may not agree with certain lifestyles, it really is down to them, THEIR consciousness and the MOST HIGH... (in celebrities' cases, they all know where you are in public view everything is everyones business, especially when they have a fan base, aka idolatry) We are called to LOVE (Hard & string calling)... not No namby pamby LOVE. Where yeah, it's ok to do that, but the kind of LOVE that DISCIPLINES because we want the BEST for OUR BREATHIN... so it is not for us to judge but to state the obvious consequences of the WORD... and what to do to... REPENT and be EMPOWERED to be SEPARATE from what the world ah PUSHES out... but again, it's up to the INDIVIDUAL to EMBRACE... Which MANY don't want to HEAR the REALITIES... some because they love it their ways and carenot of consequences, some haven't awaken... And some that conclude I'm chatting rubbish and blinded to the truth... It LAST DAYS (many prophecies have happened, especially in the last decade, more so the last couple of years), my people.... so if we NUH WAN BUN FIRE💥den we need to CLEAN UP OURSELVES... which means QUESTIONING OUR own way of life and what influences them and cut it off... Blessings to all...

Thank you for this video! You said a lot of positive things and I definitely agree with the American record label strategy to house naturally talented artists and stop their careers. It’s so hard for an artist to get out of the contract and just enjoy their gifts. I’m an American and the Reggae/Rastafarian sound in music is always a thing for me! And like everyone saying that Koffee never said she was Rasta! She never said she was gay either…. Often times the labels want’s what is trending and to keep those trends everyone in an American label has a sexuality problem…. What shouldn’t have anything to with the gifts of making music…. Nope. We Black folks here in the US have the same problem; it’s too much fun destroying each other with hate, envy, and colorism than actually advancing our cause. So we sit at the bottom while everyone else succeeds.

Why won’t you guys leave koffee alone she minds her business she is a good girl she is very humble who cares about what she does with her life
she never claimed rasta, but her music and her camp represented the rasta culture. I don’t have an issue with who she is. I’m a huge fan, but don’t say that she wasn’t representing as a Rasta.

She got a official introducing to reggae audience by a rasta icon and also on a rasta show.....then as she progress in the business we all started to see her fish ways coming out.....she also did a song with a big king fish.....her music was about style not talent.....well the style has faded now......we don't want any fish in our ital stew

Better that she lives in her truth than pretend for some program. Life is too short, complicated, and brutal to be other than kind when you can but always truthful to yourself.

It’s basically the young Gen Z kids are like this. They have a different stance when it comes to gender and sexuality than we do. Their more tolerant to break gender norms in dressing and sexuality and are more accepting to those what we call alternative lifestyles. Jamaica and the rest of the world because of the influence of Gen Z is moving that way. That’s why she is like this. There is a lot of girls like her right now. And they think it’s a cool thing to do.

But hey at least it’s not a sexual or violent thug image she’s portraying. What she portraying is a positive image that people need to appreciate more and not frown upon.

The un-Godly will always support lewdness and mediocrity. Dies anyone believe mediocrity and lewdness sits well with the Creator? How we have debased ourselves to accept any and every bottom of the barrel behaviour as talent. Now, all humanity MUST understand that everyone who exalts self or supports exaltation, will realise that the Creator will destroy them.
