To this Priyanka replied later that she gets her accent from the same place where Kareena’s boyfriend gets it from. I don’t remember whether she was talking about Shahid or Saif. And there were few other instances when they said few things about each other. Also they have never been on cordial terms with each other since Aitraaz.

Rick's "oh ho ho" after Kareena said she made all her costars look good had me in stitches. Dudes, Bebo flexed her thespian muscles in Talaash and Omkara, in case you'd forgotten, and went against type in Udta Punjab and Angrezi Medium. Her performance in Jab We Met is still considered one of the absolute best in Hindi romcoms. Watch Chameli, Kurbaan and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu for more good stuff from her. The first two are dramatic roles, the third rather lighthearted. Dev and Yuva are worth mentioning too. Her performance in Heroine won a lot of praises, but I personally think the film isn't very good. Kareena's reputation as a glamour icon and (occassionally meme-starting) commercial star so thoroughly eclipses her talent as an actor that whenever she does something remotely offbeat or gets involved in project which gets critical acclaim, a lot of people are momentarily stunned. Case in point: People were surprised that she agreed to act in Udta Punjab, because it meant playing fourth fiddle to her ex-boyfriend (Shahid), a much younger actress (Alia), and an actor who was was debuting in the Hindi-language movie industry (Diljit- all the movies he'd done before Udta Punjab were in Punjabi). It happened again (on a smaller scale) with Angrezi Medium. She very talented, but she's generally less daring with her roles than Priyanka is.

Bwahahaha, these two were VERY snippy to each other in their early days. Actually, Kareena was notoriously arrogant in her youth and was snippy to most of her peers- she's matured so much now, and humbled herself (well, somewhat). It's my wish to one day see Rick and Korbin fanboy over Bebo the way they do over Priyanka. Well, one can't deny PC's been more consistently saavy about the type of roles which would fetch her critical acclaim. Kareena didn't really care either way until she approached her mid-thirties. My favourite performances from her (that you haven't yet seen) are in Dev, Kurbaan and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. Shahid (who's worked with both of them) really said it best- Kareena's more (naturally) talented, but Priyanka works harder. They've only worked together once- in Aitraaz (which was one of Priyanka's first movies). I wouldn't recommend it.

They also worked in Don (Kareena had a couple scenes with PC) & did one KBC episode with Shahrukh but that was years a go. Their relationship went from being extremely warm to each other to being arch rivals of each other and now finally to being two mature successful girls admiring each other. In recent years, Priyanka also did an episode of DID with Bebo, where the later was one of the judges and PC went with Farhan to promote her film. What Shahid said is completely right, Bebo's acting is more natural and impactful, the way she does comedy and emotional scenes is untouchable (JWM, Kurbaan, Heroine, 3 Idiots & Golmaal 3), however, PC is more versatile and brave when it comes to her choice of films (7 KM, Barfi, Mary Kom). Regardless of their acting pattern, both the leading ladies have had great innings in Bollywood, spanning over 20 years and are still going strong. This is a rare feat that actresses enjoy in male dominated industry in decades. Both have paved the way for younger actresses and in fact there was a time when Bollywood didn't have any powerful leading ladies but these two (2007 - 2011), as former strong leading ladies like Aishwariya, Rani & Priety were fading away from the scene and new sensations like Deepika & Katrina were juvenile in their performances. There was Vidya, but she wasn't very popular until The Dirty Picture and was considered an off beat actress till that time. Kareena & Priyanka deserve immense respect for staying firmly on their feet during those tough times for the actresses. As an ardent fan, I'd love to see them together in a film, essaying some great parts, maybe something along the lines of Mullholand Drive, Chicago, American Hustle or a Thunder Force. Also, it'd have been great if it was Kareena instead of Alia in the upcoming film Jee Le Zara along with Priyanka & Katrina. Alia seemed a lil out of place.

Im not a fan of those celebs or any insta users whose pages are like glam up pictures or to show so perfect all the time (like he said publicity stuff) so i follow Priyanka because she is real, we can relate to her cuz she posted pictures which is soemtimes selfie, candid, or even family or friends pics and not all the time perfect angle and her captions are always interesting even if its long or short.. I think even Kareena is also the same

If I want to watch a high quality Bollywood Shakespearean heroine performance, I’ll watch Tabu. That's because they like actors who do meatier roles like Nawaz, Irfan etc While they do enjoy commercial fun acting but that won't get them hooked on to that actor. And Kareena to be honest haven't done any character roles like priyanka in barfi or alia in raazi/gully gang etc. Kareena needs to start doing movies which can showcase her acting instead of being a just love interest to someone.

KAREENA KAPOOR is a huge star in India. She is very talented, given the films she has done like- Talaash with Amir Khan, Chameli, Kurbaan, Udta Punjab, Jab We Met. She is very carefree and does not really think about what people would say about her and that is what also makes her very attractive because she is so herself, which is rare.
