"great for big workouts and big smiles" is going down in the Kofuzi record book of quotes about shoes. Weight and cost aside, it's nice that Puma is still trying to make something unique and crazy unlike many companies who are making everything ultra safe and good for everyone

I like how you introduced these shhhhhoes? 😁I think the "B" stands for bonkers. I'm still rocking the FR1. By some miracle, I was able to find one on closeout. Sadly, I haven't experienced similar luck with the FR2. Still itching to try that sweet, sweet aliphatic TPU. Such a fast and fun shoe. I wish I could wear it every day, but alas I discipline myself to leave it in its cubbie waiting for special ocassions only. I go with the DNE1 for tempo work instead.

Honestly, this design is actually similar to the Nike TEMPO NEXT% but Puma just grossly exaggerated all aspects of it. The TEMPO NEXT% actually had the most energy return of any Nike shoe they have ever made for public use. The problem with these Puma shoes is that they are just ridiculously heavy. Well over 12 ounces for that size shoe is just terrible. Fine, if you are running down a mountain but just awful for any uphill efforts at all. Honestly, this shoe is just a gimmick. Nobody is going to run a PR in these shoes on any normal course for any significant distance. Sometimes breaking the rules doesn't mean it is automatically faster.

yeah, I don't know how you would have gotten unsubscribed. if I were to completely guess, it's part of the KZbin algorithm trying to purge accounts that you frequently do not interact with. but even that guess doesn't make all that much sense. but my point is that most of the stuff I get shown on my KZbin feed is from channels I'm not subscribed to, which I suppose is a bit of a tangent to what you were describing

"old enough to remember Rollerblades"? Really Kofuzi? Rollerblading is very much alive in 2024. The Berlin Marathon Inline Skating 2024 will take place on September 28. It is a huge sold out event, and only one of many inline skating competitions world wide. It might not be your thing, but Marathon Skating is very interesting in its own way with equipment technology and racing strategies etc... Anyway, great review of the Puma Fast RB

Rollerblades are not Inline Skates
@yogatriathleteАй бұрын
@@maloran98 What are you talking about? Of course they are. Rollerblade is a brand that makes inline skates
@maloran98Ай бұрын
@@yogatriathlete Hm maybe its a cultural thing. I looked into it and over here rollerblades are synonymous with roller skates, whereas rollerblade seems to be a deonym for inline skates in the states?
@yogatriathleteАй бұрын
@@maloran98 A blade is a thin edge (like a knife for example). The name Rollerblade was invented because all the wheels where placed in one line (inline), like a blade. In the 1980's, Rollerblade was the only company making inline skates, so everybody called it Rollerblading. Today there are a lot of manufactures making inline skates so it is more correct to call it inline skating rather than rollerblading, but they are still the same thing. However, Rollerblading is definitely not roller skating, as one has nothing to do with the other. Roller skates have 2 wheels side by side in front and another 2 side by side in back. Some people call them quad-skates, but they are absolutely not rollerblades. If the term is used synonymously with roller skates where you live, then it is a mistake. People that are really into the sport wouldn't mix the 2 terms. (I don't live in the states by the way)
