Hi, you have just received an appreciation right now! I would appreciate if you can answer to my question concerning the use of this crayons as oil pastels, my dear! Can we smear them with our finger? TKY to help me for buying them or not!
@MayBrox2 жыл бұрын
Heya. No. These are watercolor crayons. And will desolve with water. They are not ment to be smeared with fingers.
@danyelhudon4582 жыл бұрын
Hi, do you believe I can use them as wax pastels with my « Pentel Art » oil pastels and Cray-Pas for my realistic portraits for fine details? TKY to help me by answering me! Continue your arts and keep being inspired!
@MayBrox2 жыл бұрын
Heya Danyel. Sure, as long as you don't add water or any wet media to it, it should work fine together with wax pastels and other mediums. But as this is watercolor is a stick, it will become fluid and smear everywhere, when you ass water. They desolve very easily. So it depends on how you will use it. I think they work best as loose watercolor together with for example oil pastels. But I can't see how you can use them for anything realistic. That don't mean it won't work. It only means that I don't know how. Lots of luck to you😀

@@MayBrox TK so much to take time to answer me which I didn’t see you first answer, sorry for that! Lately, I drew Mona Lisa with wax oil pastels such as Pentel with a 16X12’’ which it took me over 110hrs exactly the same sfumato technique than Leonardo da Vinci by adding Ecoline Brush pens on it, in order to imitate the same effects! I am working with oil pastels in general and I had discovered we can do hyper-realistic portraits with the waxy oil pastels because they are arc and firm specially! But, as I would like to achieve a better result with less time to perform it, I am looking for a solution as waxy oil pastel with a fine nib to execute fine details! So, if you know these Pentel oil pastel they are kind of similar than neocolor II!

@@danyelhudon458 If you can do realistic portraits with oil pastels, you are an magician. 😀 I have Neocolor II's too. They hold their point much better then these. These are softer, but desolve just the same. I'm afraid I don't know the Pentel Oil pastels. I prefer to work with watercolors.

Did you ever use the Stabilo wax crayons 3 in 1, if yes how to compare them with your koh I Noor wax aquarell crayons?
@MayBrox2 жыл бұрын
I am very sorry for the late response, but I didn't get any notification about your comment. I try my best to answer them as fast as possible, No I have never tried the wax crayons from Stabilo 3 in 1. I haven't even heard about them. Guess I have to do some research now :D Thank you for telling me about them.
@danyelhudon4582 жыл бұрын
@@MayBrox For your information, I had continued my researches and I gave some trials with Stabilo and I am quite satisfy with them; there a bit harder than aquarellable wax crayons such as Shuttler Art fir kids as exemple and these are softer than Amos from Japon on US Amazon (there are the best), they are the most pigmented than others wartercolours crayons for kids, but I don’t about the koh-I Noor, but I read some commentaries on Amazon which it seems they’re less pigmented than Stabilo 3 in 1 and they costed 3 times more! Hope these info’s might be useful to someone! Have a nice day!

It would be nice if you could add subtitles on this video.
@MayBrox3 жыл бұрын
I wish I could put on auto-subtitles. But I can not. I have to write the subtitles myself and then upload it. So I am so sorry. I really wish I could do it. Because of my stammer and bad English, it would really help out, if there was an option to put on subtitles.
