I went to Koh Lipe in 2018 and stayed on sunrise beach, it was amazing! it was very clean too. maybe due to covid times beaches aren't being taken care of as much but will hopefully be back to normal soon when tourism picks back up!
@livandlew2 жыл бұрын
Yes totally! We had heard similar, all the other beaches were being cleaned by the hotels that were on them so I think once the season is up and running it will be 🤗 would love to go back and see it once it’s high season!

Great video! Can you tell me how did you get the transfer from Krabi, did you booked it online? The transfer duration is 5h boat+bus or only the bus? Thanks!
@livandlew Жыл бұрын
Hi, no we booked it with a travel agent on the street in Krabi. It was a 5 hour bus and then the boat was a couple of hours. We booked the boat once we arrived at the port

@@livandlew lovely! We had a very friendly black puppy that visited too we had rain too, but our boat off the island was first Thai long tail to a platform then to the speedboat was really rough and getting into that long tail in 4ft of water really challenging (the things we do for Thailand time 😂)

@@charlotteoakley3972 I think it’s equally likely to have rain like we did. Thailand is so unpredictable weather wise. But it’s definitely rainy season in Lipe then

I don’t think the prices are too dissimilar but accommodation will be cheaper
@Jimmy-lb1yc2 жыл бұрын
Everything is the same all year round pretty much except the accommodation. It's only more expensive than other places because it's so remote so have to bring everything over by boat

@@Jimmy-lb1yc that’s not true - there’s a rainy season
@Jimmy-lb1yc2 жыл бұрын
@@livandlew I never said there wasn't haha. He asked if it is cheaper in the low season and my comment is insinuating that the prices are the same all year round for things like food and drink but the thing that is cheaper is accomodation. Never once said there isn't a rainy season.
