I've just left Koh Yao Noi after spending a month there. Was honestly one of the best experiences. The people are so friendly too ❤️

Lovely island trip, Thanks for the video. We've not been to Koh Yao Noi. Closest We've been to that bit of Thailand was Krabi, Railay Beach and Ao Nang. First time to Railay, there was no pier at Railay Pier for the boat transfer, and had to wade out to the boat quite a bit, (with unsuitable luggage). When we finished our trip, we got a boat from the other side of the peninsular, to Ao Nam Mao, pier to pier..

Amazing! Because we were at a really remote resort and the roads were honestly so bad so we didn’t wanna risk it (plus I just wanted to relax) 🤗

There are so many lesser known Thai Islands that are amazing, like Ko Ngai, Koh Kradan, Koh Jum, Ko Mak, they can all be reached from Ko Lanta which is beautiful too! Watch You Tube channel Travel Stories, she has done a few vlogs on the smaller islands, I stayed on Ko Kradan myself some years ago, it’s the most amazing small island, no roads, only one long main beach and jungle and coral ideal for snorkelling!

I found Koh Mak was great, picture postcard beaches, loved it. Not overrun with tourists when we went, a little seasonal with the weather perhaps. Quite a good passenger ferry. The power station was a group of parked-up trucks with diesel Generators...

Yo Skye, how close was this to some of the "resorts" there, such as the Six Senses? was that restaurant part of resorts, or were they random Koh Yao Noi restaurants? Thanks!

Yo Paul ☺️ this was all in one resort on the best beach on the island apparently. It’s called Paradise Resort!

How did you get to the resort? We saw that they offer a private transport from Phuket (but it seems to be overpriced!) Is is possible to take the public ferry to Koh Yao Noi and find a taxi driver that takes you to the resort? If so: do you know the approximate costs?
@SkyeSamuels2 жыл бұрын
Hi, yes we went on a boat from a pier somewhere up north in Phuket it was around 300 baht if I remember correctly, then when we arrived a pick up truck at the pier was waiting and took us to the resort and I think it was maybe around 50-100 baht each.

Spent my 30th at this exact place. Jacuzzi room overlooking the sea, Paradise indeed! Wake up call by a toucan or whatever those birds were haha In regards to customer service, this resort uses locals most of whom don't speak much English, if at all. Which to me, adds to the charm and experience.

Do you mind me asking how you're able to travel in Thailand for so long without returning for work? I came back to England after 2 months in Thailand last week and feel depressed, I want to be back again already. Even the quarantine wasn't that bad 🥲😂

Thanks it is fantastic really you present it well and nicely expressed I’m following your channel, really awesome. We are shooting for Thailand in sha allah in July we are total 8 family members and youngest is a boy of 15 years old . We plan to visit -Bangkok/Phuket/Krabi /and Kho samui . I’m personally proposing 3 nights in each instead of staying the full 9 nights in Phuket . My proposal to family ; 1 night at Bangkok Shangrila’s hotel river side upon arrival - then moving to Phuket by Airport Staying 3 nights at Phuket/ then moving to Karbi by mini bus with driver on road for appxm 2 hrs 3 nights From Krabi/ moving by airplane ,If available which i doubt , or ferry like what you did , to Kho Samui 3 nights Kho Samui , then back to Bangkok by airplane 3 nights in Bangkok 1. Is this a good itinerary ? 2. or shall we do opposite going from Bangkok to Kho samui first 3 nights then Karbi 3 nights then Phuket 3 nights then back to Bangkok 3 nights? 2. Do you think it is tiring to move to to 3 places within 9 days or better stick to 2 e.g. Phuket and Karabi 3. which hotels you propose in each considering that my wife snd children love very much beach front direct sea view accommodations.Thanks again and looking forward to watching your vlog videos. Best Regards Khalid alsolu from Saudi Arabia

Vloggers have a huge responsibility to the environment and potential impact on social economic outcomes! Yes.. It's a hidden gem. But not anymore with vloggers like you! I lived there for a year... and it would be great if it could stay hidden!

Sounds like a really selfish comment. Some people aren’t fortunate enough to be able to travel the world, so I’m sure they really enjoy and appreciate me sharing places like this so that they feel like they’re sharing the experience with me 🙂

@@louisebarnes7392 FFS.... You must be young and naive. I never said that. Travel should be about... Real hands-on... discovery.. Getting lost... Learning from mistakes.
