Note: For the second half of the video I turned on Casual Mode (which turns the monster off) as the monster is extremely hard to avoid and it sends you back to the start of the game if you die. I just loved how the player is treated as a disposable object so casually by the man talking to the player. The way the game ended was also uniquely terrifying. This is a great example of an indie horror game made by fans of horror :) My only critique is that I wish it was longer haha, I would have liked to see more of that monster and even learn more about it. The prisoner was told by the supervisor over the intercom that he needs to go to each of the 3 blood sample collecting kiosks in a specific order, get a sample of his blood from each kiosk and then bring each sample back to that "testing centre" (that place with the 2 pillows, the poster and the different coloured room lights) where it gets analysed. He then needs to collect 5 gears and attach them to that device so that the floorboards in that passageway swivel so that he can get to the next area. The whole thing is a giant test the corporation runs on prisoners, to see if they'd be suitable to basically become computers made out of hacked up human beings. (Human beings and space fuel are apparently cheaper than rare earth metals in that universe. Also the human computers apparently don't need much food or water if their limbs and most of their organs are removed.) It seems that corporation sells some of the human beings turned computers for profit. While the corrupt corporation had been testing then turning people into computer processors for quite some time, the corrupt local law enforcement company of the colony planet the protagonist is from are working with the evil corporation to provide them with prisoners. Basically the corrupt law enforcement company figured out what the corrupt corporation was doing and told them "we'll arrest people for petty infractions and send them to you in exchange for bribes". That's why the protagonist got arrested and sent to that corporation's facility. While the prisoner is completing the test, the corporation is also running a 2nd simultaneous test at the same time to test out the intelligence of that prototype monster they're building for use as a living weapon for sale. One of the audio logs states that that monster is created from a mutated human being and that they intend to mass produce and sell monsters to other corporations to use as weapons of terror against rebellious colony planets protesting their corporate overlords. (It seems there are 2 different departments of the same corporation, the monster making department and the human computer making department. The supervisor sounded annoyed that one department had unleashed and was testing the monster against the protagonist on the same day that the other department was testing the protagonist to see if he'd make a suitable human computer.) Apparently according to other KZbinrs comments there are 3 endings. There's the one shown here where the protagonist "successfully" completes the test and gets turned into a living computer. There's a second ending where the protagonist gets to the "computerization" room without having submitted all 3 bloodd samples and gets jettisoned out the air lock. (The facility is apparently a space station.) Then there's the 3rd ending where the protagonist successfully tricks the monster into getting sucked out the air lock and gets the "opportunity" to become the "new monster" by jumping into a vat of chemicals.

Like how the one at the start is fairly easy is probably a baseline compared to what you have to go through to get the other 3. I mean, I wouldn't be too surprised if there needs to be some level of screening in order to check for compatibility. If they have health issues making them what they are would make checking up on them difficult.

In the description it says "press all the placebo buttons" so in reality they do nothing, they are justo there to mess with you. Not a english speaker so sorry if something is bad written.

According to the plot of the game, the corporation that bought the main protagonist has been buying prisoners from the police to use their consciousness to power the AI for processing data. the prisoner's who's consciousness was used as fuel, got all their limbs and non-vital organs removed to lower the nutrition consumption. The main protagonist went through a surgery described above.
