After a couple of plays having to start all over, it just becomes annoying/tedious, you just feel like uninstalling the game. They have to patch this game to add an option at the beginning of the game to turn on checkpoints.

The game specifically mentions in the video that the police arrested people on bullshit charges to satisfy demand of the testing facility, so the pool of convicts gets more diluted and it doesnt seem as suspicious that one facility is buying all the convicts.

Already a class 12 high misdemeanor. The punishment is 8 to 11 months in prison, but the resulting auctioning off into slavery can be mercifully forgotten if you're willing to submit a sample of reproductive gametes into an artificial womb so that your future child can be enslaved in your stead.

According to the plot of the game, the corporation that bought the main protagonist has been buying prisoners from the police to use their consciousness to power the AI for processing data. the prisoner's who's consciousness was used as fuel, got all their limbs and non-vital organs removed to lower the nutrition consumption. The main protagonist went through a surgery described above.

To those who don't know, our justice system in the USA is similar to the plot of this game. Many prisons are privately owned and for-profit. Those who own the prisons want to maximize profit by keeping their prisoner population at max capacity, so they lobby for stricter punishments on trivial things like marijuana offenses. They also want to pack as many inmates in as possible, once again to maximize profit (they get paid by the government per detained inmate, so in addition to the moral implications, this also costs taxpayers extra money). In addition, private prison populations are used for (nearly) free labor. Many government projects are built and maintained partially by prisoner labor. The inmates are then paid pennies per hour. To keep this whole process going without the public realizing how wrong it is, it's constantly drilled into our heads that everyone in prison deserves to be there, no matter how big or small their offenses are. Thus, slavery never really went away. It just changed. And if you think all of this is just conspiracy, please look up "private prison stocks." You'll see that you can actually invest in private, for-profit prisons. Most of you will simply disregard this as someone rambling on the internet, but hopefully it will have the effect of elucidating others who are willing to open their eyes.
