KOHLER KDI 3404

Presentato a #EIMA2014 il nuovo #KDI3404: il motore è l’evoluzione della gamma #kdi verso potenze più alte e tecnologie d’avanguardia: il Common Rail ad alta pressione (2000 bar), la valvola EGR pilotatata elettronicamente per il ricircolo dei gas di scarico, le quattro valvole per una combustione più efficiente con minori consumi ed un’erogazione di potenza equivalente a quella di motori di cilindrata superiore. Con il nuovo KDI 3404 KOHLER Engines porta tali concetti a un livello ancora più avanzato in termini di performance ed efficienza operativa senza l’utilizzo del filtro antiparticolato (DPF).
The new #KDI3404, introduced at #EIMA2014, is the latest development of the KDI design into a product line with higher power through the use of advanced technologies such as a high-pressure (2000 bar) Common Rail injection system and an electronically controlled EGR valve for recirculating exhaust gasses, the four valves per cylinder allow for a more efficient combustion while reducing the fuel consumption and delivering levels of power equivalent to engines with larger displacements. With the new KDI 3404; KOHLER Engines is bringing these concepts to the next and higher level in terms of performance and operating efficiency. It should be noted this is achieved without the use of a diesel-particulate filter (DPF).
