I was diagnosed with Mueller Weisse syndrome two years ago after an acute episode left me unable to walk on my left foot. Mueller Weisse syndrome seems to be difficult to diagnose. After a lengthy bout first in a cast, non-weight bearing, then nearly a year in a moon boot left no improvement I am now in a state of waiting to see if I will need a fusion. Although I am reasonably active the pain is sometimes hard to cope with. I am a 60 year old female and have always been fit and lead an active life. I try and walk as much as I can but the pain is sometimes quite bad. This is such a rare disease that I feel isolated sometimes, no one has ever heard of it and because I am leading a normal life people forget that I have a problem.

+Benny Duffy (its Bennyyyy) did you have to get the cast? what is the cast for? my 2 year old son was just diagnosed, any feedback is appreciated

@@adnanfaisal5998 it may never cure. I have had it since i was 4. It gets easyer with time. I am 14 now and its still with me and i am proud of it. It hurts like damn every month I say about twice but normally pain killer helps in 30 min. When i was 4 i had pain every night and morning and it was awful.Hope this helps. I remaind you that this is only my case and may be diffrent.

My age is 25 am suffering the same situation from 3 years am able to work normally but i cant run , navicular Bone is totally dead whether it will be cured or not . Any suggestions please.
