Thank you for the shoutout! The inner voices in our heads don't shut up sometimes. Thank you for explaining it so eloquently. We want that pocket of time to exist without a care in the world. Yes! I'm from Brooklyn, New York, and NY is sometimes Twilight Zone and Outer Limits rolled into one! People in our generation from NY grew up watching Twilight Zone Marathons on WPIX 11. We loved them so much. Btw, I love your intro; the music is excellent. I always liked this episode, but you're right about insufficient time for character development. Perhaps it would've been enough if they had just had him transform only once. 4 is stretching it for a 1/2 show. This would've fit better in the hour-long season 4 eps. of TZ. I would LOVE to look like Cindy Crawford! Lol. Great research on Plastic Surgery. It's far more complicated than it seems. Social media is out of control with weird, fuzzy filters and surgeries. It's so fake. I recently learned of a scary surgery in Asia that makes their faces look stretched and waxen. It wipes away every wrinkle - and most importantly, for the one getting surgery - they look oddly child-like and youthful. It's done out of vanity and is not corrective. Everything is possible in the Twilight Zone. Yet even when he restructures his face, the men's bodies would be very different. Did that change, too? I had a similar issue with "Face Off" with John Travolta and Nic Cage. I guess we have to go with the flow. LOL @ the "Reply to all" Email Face! It's scary how fast AI has progressed to Deep Fakes. It can be used for terrible things. It's sad. Young People's online attention spans are 30 seconds or less, so it will be much easier to fool them! I'm not too young, but my attention span has worsened over the last 27 years or so I've used the Internet. This episode had the most shocking ending! Did Andy commit murder? Was he abusive to someone they loved? His mom? It's the only thing that can explain his father's actions. And the REAL Andy may still be out there somewhere. It leaves a lot of questions. The father could've turned him over to the police if that was the case.

This episode breakdown was great. Always tons of research and information. The last part with AI is pretty scary. Your example drove the point with clarity and balanced it with our human emotion feeling vulnerable to this new technology. Unfortunately I just found out my wife is a robot. I should have known. I met her at a RadioShack.

Wonderful review and I enjoyed your questions and additional thoughts on facial surgery and the dangers on the horizon thanks to deepfake tech. Also, to your point about TZ being like pizza, I agree fully. It's unique in that way because there are other shows with clunker episodes too, but I don't have the same love for the show to still plow through.

I rewatched the episode a few weeks ago: A tragic ending, but needed to transport the message of the story. As you mentioned, it lacks a bit of depth. I think this is due to the variety of people and the short running time of the episode. Still an interesting topic to discuss though! :)
