hi, what means "spray the entire painting? and then add a green wash? " Can you explain that techniques or show them. Thanks.

Thanks for your comment Maria. "Spray the entire painting": in order to get a smooth background color, you need to spray the painting with water before you add color (the green wash). You can "wash" the painting with a light, transparent color just once, or you can do it several times. Each time, you need to spray it with water first so all the paper is lightly wet. If you have too much water, just blot the shiny areas with paper towel or a piece of rice paper. You can find more tips on my blog at joyfulbrush.

May I ask what name brush and paints were used here if you remember?

Thanks for asking; Professor Ju used whatever colors the student had, in this case my guess is Chinese color chips and Marie's Chinese watercolors in tubes. Same for the brushes. My blog at joyfulbrush has posts on brushes, colors and papers, which you may find helpful.
