Mic 🎤 works excellent buddy I agree the sumi looks so much better in cold water.. especially on a shiro .. Your koi all look great and seem to be doing very well . I may move out a few koi this year

Hi koi mate love your pond so much great update one day ile model my next pond on yours lol I got some cracking fish in qt at the moment and I’m going to re do the top of my pond completely this year all the capping timbers are gone so I’m going to change them

Sounds like your not to far from me, I'm Cardiff, same water from tap? I used to add bi carb regularly, 4 weeks ago I tried filling one section of my bakki shower with 20kg of cockle shells, I haven't added bicarb since and my kh and oh have stabled out lovely, 👍

Hi Ian yes I am in Swansea , as you know we are lucky with our soft water my PH is usually very stable and I don’t need to buffer that much in the summer What I am trying to do is buffer a lot to raise my PH to the high 7s the combination of the cold and harder water really brings the sumi out on the koi It’s something I am experimenting with All the best Mike 👍🏼👍🏼
