do you measure your KH of your water? i have a similar drum filter with 80lts of k1 media and have continuous PH drops as i cannot raise my KH even with 8kg of dolomite rock and approx 10kgs of shell grit. im finding im also adding Carbonate hardness generator and still not having success at raising KH. my tap water has 3-4 DKH yet i can only maintain about 1DKH (target is 4-5DKH) have you experienced ph drops running this media?

Hi Triple X and thanks for popping in and dropping a comment Sir. My pond is only 900gal I find keeping water parameters in this small hole is easy. Yes your bio will eat the KH just try and keep constant parameters and don't chase your tail too much. 😉🙏⛩️🈂️KC

What air pump and size you run, and what size air line
@KoiChronicles3 жыл бұрын
Hi James the air pump is 70lpm and I used 4mm airline, as I already had a spare air port on my consumer air manifold. Thanks for watching and for stopping by I really appreciate the support Sir. ✌🙏⛩🈂KC
