As a Bengali, I have travelled extensively to the North-East. Even our north Bengal has so many similarities to Assam, so I am pretty well acquianted with their culture. But every freaking time I hear a song from this part of India, I immediately go back to being a kid, who doesn't know anything about the place. What a magic they have in their tunes! It feels like all those small mountains, and green forests are singing, feels like there is something bigger going on the other sides of those turquoise bigger mountains, feels like freedom.

Also , if I were you, I'd probably stay away from mentioning similarities between Assamese and Chinese style or culture or music or anything 😁😁 This northeastern region probably hates the Chinese the most due to frequent racist remarks by central Indians referring us as "chini".. Also for the simple reason that Assam does not share borders with China. It is in the middle of the NE states and its people have a very striking resemblance to the people of West Bengal. Cheers and look forward to more from you guys.
