Much appreciated, the wood around the pond is just as necessary as is the boulders, fish, and plants. In photography there is the rule of thirds. It works in creating the picture as much as it does taking the picture.

Thanks Greg, It's all your fault !!!!! Your video worlds most beautiful back yards was done so well, I was hooked the very first time I saw that video. I watched that video over and over. It's perfect. Are you in USA? I'm in Florida. Too hot but things are under control. I made my pond not natural and amazing like yours because the purpose was protection and nice life to my turtle Joy. Still i love to enjoy it. Now i have 12 gold fishes too, some snails and shrimps. Makes the life worthy. I guess you stay a lot next to this amazing pond. 🌸🌺🌴🦋🐸🦆🐢🐠🌸🌺

This video was early spring. Plants were just coming alive. I did a second video just recently after 5 weeks of letting everything grow. It has now been manicured a bit.

And growing I am in the process of reworking the matrix bog I want a larger waterfall. Going to be a costly addition . I should have just dropped a pump in the snorkel and pumped to a build up but . No volcanoes for me

I'm in southern New England zone 6b. Outside the pond along the edges wild onion Sage Stone crop Ferns found locally Creeping jenny Hostas In the pond Obedient plant Mint Creeping jenny Moss of every kind i love moss including sphagnum moss and some moss i found that will grow in full sun in the water at the edge of the water high or low flow. Lilies Yellow blue and peacock iris Grasses i found locally. Forget me nots Water cress

My first pond build for myself and my family. It certainly gives a new fell to the social gathering . Watching the waterfalls. ,birds, frog, dragonflies, even the bubbles floating down the current.

Thank you . Yes i did and it was my first time doing anything like this. I'd love to be able to do it for a living. It was a very rewarding and by far the most enjoyable project that we use daily.
