Haha . Feed the feeder .. So true.. the work is never done . Looks like a nice warm day to be working outside .. mild here today ..about 2c Going to get into the -20s on the weekend so I am testing all my air lines Ghost koi talking 😊 Your levels are pretty good . .

Hey Mike, your Japanese koi house survived well against the storm… 👏🏼 👏🏼 👍🏼 Had to deal with a little storm damage to the pond house/shed but not too bad. Still at 20 deg.C being indoors and well insulated. Plan to drop that soon tho. Glad you are well mate…. 👍🏼

HaHa, yeah they’ll be enjoying the 20 deg alright. Annoyingly I’m holding it there to allow a couple of injuries to heal. One koi from flashing the last time I had a parasite and the most recent one from over enthusiastic feeding 🤦🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️ 😂🤣 No more koi for me just now mate, need to move a few on first. Plus, most times I add one these days, it seems to kick start a parasite. I’d like it to be peaceful and enjoyable for a season…. 😂👍🏼

@@jiffsterkoi I add it once a month when it's a bit warmer. It does cloud the water up for a day so I always add it in the afternoon and it's normally cleared up by the next morning. Cheers, Si.

Morning Koi Mate, looking good there, I'm sitting at 12 with ashp, covers are on and lucky not budged in the winds. I used LFH detox not sure if its classed as a clay or not👍🙏

I got 4 mm perspex on my roof, it was peeling off like a wave here in st athan,was out in it pinning it all back down, also destroyed a £280 3.5mx2.5 4mm perspex I had on one side😢

Your fish are looking cloudy i.e the mucus layer is built up. I know it's cold but not cold enough for clamped fins and lethargic. Message me if you would like my advice.

Hi mate yea the hi utsuri suffers every year it doesn’t like anything under 16degrees and he gets carp pox and mucus , like I said I did have chlorine in the water which will not help the PP has now spent and I have no chlorine since adding the sodium . Scrapped yesterday found a few fluke so will sort that next weekend and fingers crossed all will be good The only thing that sorts that hi utsuri is salt I used to keep the pond at .6 over the winter but I have avoided it the last year or so All the best Mike 👍🏼👍🏼
