Hey man, I'd love to know as a former 4 key player myself, do you think 4key is balanced? In my experience of using it in lazer, it is entirely unbalanced and should be considered a different play style similar to how touchscreen is considered, but I'd love the opinion of someone using it in game right now.

​@@aukora129 I don't think it's as extreme of a difference as with touchscreen. That's because there are still only two independent inputs in the game. Having two keys bound to each input means you have to lift one of the keys before pressing the other, which takes a lot of control. If the four keys were all independent then it would be completely broken. Even with key locking I think it is still an advantage over two key in the long run, so I can see why some people think it should get pp-nerfed or have its own ranking. If that's what the community and peppy decide, I will accept it. There is also the question of how you would even detect it. You can bind two keys to z and two keys to x to get the same effect and it would show up as zxzx in game.

That's only if you bypass the keylock of k1/2+m1/2 by having k1/2 be z and then mapping two keys to z, but this doesn't, so it's fine, and it's natively supported in lazer.
