Episode for Wednesay October 30th 2024 - Halloween: Witchcraft and the Occult

Before I was born again I had a boyfriend that was interested in the occult. I had no idea of how deeply he was involved in the occult. I really did not even know what the occult was. I knew he had some books on some weird stuff but I thought that he was just reading about the stuff until one evening he was in my living room and turned off the lights and began lighting some candles and saying some stuff that I did not understand. He was kneeling beside the coffee table at the time. I was sitting on the couch. I looked up and saw a glowing orb that was hanging at the top of the wall near the ceiling. It was a dark bluish color. I asked this guy what that thing was up there. He never looked at it or at me. He just said that he did not know that people like me could see those things. Then he told me that it wanted me to kneel beside the table like he was. I had been raised a Catholic and had never seen a Bible and certainly did not know the Lord but I knew enough not to bow down to something like that. The guy told me that if I did not kneel this thing would do something bad to me. Well, I did not kneel and something bad did happen to me but I will not go into that now. The spirit world is real. This guy had been deeply involved in a coven in Chicago. He apparently had no plans of giving it up. When you see witches saying that they are putting curses on President Trump believe that it is truth. It is only because true Christians are praying correctly for him that he is still alive. When I did start seeking the truth about the Lord…He was merciful to me. God delivered me from the evil influence that I was exposed to and baptized me in the Holy Spirit. God is merciful. Don’t be deceived. Don’t allow your children to mimic the dominion of darkness. Halloween has become the most popular holiday in this country. People enjoy taking part in darkness. The more wicked the better fun they think that it is. The most horrible part of this is that churches are taking part in it. If your church takes part in such activities you need to find a church that actually knows the Lord and enjoys His presence. Honor the Lord Jesus, the Christ. Taking part in a pagan holiday honors Satan and his minions and that is nothing less than idolatry.

I think Walter Martin is the man Chuck is referring to. Jan Markell has his daughter on her program fairly often. I cant remember her name, but Jan's ministry is Olive Tree Ministries and I am sure she can refer you to a good source of his material.
