J Hope stood out to me in the Butter Remix dance, he's a natural for that style of dancing, so his movement was sharp and his expressions were everything. He's dance leader for a reason ...

It is the combination of the two (contemporary and hiphop) with great executions, hence, his style was different. Qualified as a dance master tbh.

Yup. Those "choices" she's talking about are contemporary dance choices that often don't work in hip hop. He uses something called "epaulement" and his musicality is very classical (it's why he's sometimes "late" in the timing - in quotes because it's not exactly "late," just different)

I absolutely love the way Jimin can sit into a dance. He has such mobility through his hips and is not afraid of appearing feminine in his movements when it is called for. He can make the most basic of choreo look sexy. Watch the fancam of "Dimple". The way he completes a move is stunning. He rolls through the balls of his feet on a traveling body wave to smooth out the move and get the maximum impact out of the steps.

everyone is great, but please Jimin is a genius he is simply on another level he never gives 100% energy in dance practices, she noticed Jimin in the butter 3 j dance because he was there with everything great and amazing he is, he must show Jimin on stage in fancams he eats every choreography even his freestyle is the coolest of all the way he feels when he is dancing. Although JK might not be the best dancer (technically) out of them all, for me Jhope and JK stand out while dancing due to their stage presence. These 2 really “dance” with their faces too. Their facial expressions really change when dancing. Suddenly very powerful and sexy.

12:17 - The definition of professionalism. It took me several attempts to figure notice and then figure out that the handkerchief hand been picked up, when, and by whom. It was so smooth and shows just how much experience they have performing on stage that it was second nature to do it like that even in a dance practice.

They're millionaires now and they still dance like their rent is overdue 😂 Their backing dancers are *so* good and they really create so much of the feel and structure of this choreography. They sort of make the stage, and move the eye. It's a lot like the On choreography in that way, which is definitely not a coincidence. We were waiting for Run BTS and they absolutely did not disappoint. If you haven't yet, watch the behind-the-scenes of that 45-second routine - you see how many takes they did, how hard they worked to get it right. It's a really good example of how they work, and you get to see their dynamic too. I love it when we get to watch them collaboratively create - whatever it is they're working on, their teamwork is amazing.

Fun fact: there's an interview with the choreographer and he said that bts told him they wanted a choreo that would have them drop dead tired by the climax. So them going this hard after so many years is purely from them and their showmanship.

I like that you mentioned they didn't have to go that hard, because you're right! They could release half-assed, mediocre, passionless music with boring choreography, but they /don't/. They choose to continue to make music they love, that is high quality and full of passion for their work. That's one of the biggest reasons I've been a fan for so long. They are consistent, hard-working, and passionate. I love them for that.
