I have both, the original and the DK 100. My observation is, that the magnetic brake of the DK 100 seems to be stronger (or maybe it‘s because of different bearing quality). I flipcast a 3 grams plug and need some magnetic brake with the CC BFS 23 whereas I have to set the magnetic brake on the DK 100 to 0 in order to get similar results. Overall, I‘m quite impressed with the DK 100. Built quality is good, line management is good, casting performance is good and it‘s quite affordable. Nevertheless it‘s my opinion as well, that it‘s not the best approach of simply copying without any research and development costs which harms the supplier of the original even more economically. Greetings to Japan.

My DK100 works well with the brakes at around 40%, so there may be individual differences. In terms of quality, it's almost as good as the original, so I would like them to make a reel that isn't a copy. And I would like Japanese manufacturers to make an even better reel. And I believe they are able to do that.
