Adhi is the ultimate sadist. He is deceiving his mother and his wife who foolishly believe he is innocent while not being afraid to brag the truth to the likes of his enemies like Anathee and Tholkapien. Before he was torturing Abi to respond to her challenges but now he just plain enjoys seeing her suffer like he did when she was fainting in the court after being shot. I wonder if he realizes he is the one who gets himself into problems and they are not caused by Abi or her family. Adhi has the perfect life - a healthy son, a loving wife and an entire family who supports him. He is also very young and still successful in the construction industry despite competition from Abi. He also had control of all of his Grandfather's inheritance (But now his dad wants to give half to Abi as compensation for Adhi's torture). If Adhi had invested the time he wastes sabotaging Abi's business and family into developing his own business and relationships - he'd be a lot more happier. I even remember in an earlier episode that Abi herself mentioned that Adhi is a more talented person than her but it's his anger and ego that stunt his own success.
