The inspector's premise that by recording/filming police stations, Cars or individuals is a danger to them is not backed up by the data. The last time a police station was attacked in the UK was 1985 in Northern Ireland and the vast majority of police deaths occurred from heart attacks and strokes sitting behind their desks instead of FRONTLINE duty so the data does not back up the inspectors arguments

Hahaha, amazing Kolee. U stood your ground . Theat inspector was way out his league and he new it. He is used to ppl backing down 2 his bullying tactics. I love how u remained calm and collected. He is a bully and I have no doubt he has acted that way his entire career. How many members of the public has he bullied in his career. No wonder he is paranoid about his reg being exposed. So many ppl feel scared and intimidated by police presence. Its realy no wonder why so many crimes go unreported when there are police within the Forse like him. I try teach and encourage my kids to contact the police in times of need and even say that they are the good guys but deep down I know this is not always the case. Its a terrible situation our society is in just now. Police are just so unapproachable. I was assaulted by around 10 police officers inside my own house and in front of my children. They barged there way into my family home before dragging me to the ground causing me real physical and mental damage. A black eye and a brocken rib. All because an alleged offence that I had been drink driving earlier that night. Long story short they threw me into the van, took me back to the station and breathalysed me only to find I hadn't drank a single drop of alcohol. I even offered to take the test while inside my house. They stood outside my front door. Around 10 of them screaming at both me and my partner. I asked them 3 times to stop swearing in front of my children to which they ignored. Then one of them screamed at my partner and I quote shut your mouth you little bitch this has nothing to do with you. Even then I remained calm. Then a few seconds later two of them lunged forward into my property withought even a warrant grabbing me and pulling me out onto the pavement. All I remember next was being jumped on by multiple officers swearing and shouting and hearing the cries from my two small children from inside. It was only the second time in my whole life I have ever been arrested and it terrified us all. I consider myself a very calm and honest person and therefore found this very upsetting. As soon as they realised I was actualy sober and looking at the black eye and all the marks on me they started to get worried. The Sargent pulled me to the side and apologised. I know now he was trying to convince me to not press charges before driving me home again. I made a report the following day and attached a photo of my injuries and asked for a copy of the footage but they lied and said none of them had there body cams on, even though there were at least 10 officers there at the time. What could I have done. It was my family's word against all those 🐖. They are all in bed together and unless we record them then its like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. I'm a very calm and forgiving person but my kids and my partner are petrified of police now. I know ppl prob think I'm exaggerating and that there are always two sides to every story but my account of what happened that night is exactly how I have explained it. I later herd that the same police Forse up here in Moray Scotland have been under investigation by internal affairs for some time now for excessive use of Forse etc. Note to self. Record any and all future encounters with police from now on. I never even tried to resit. I mean, what would have been the point, there were just so many of them, but one of the cops kneed me in the ribs at least twice. The only thing I cud say in there defence was that I think maybe they thought I was someone else because as he was hitting me he was calling me by a different name. He seemed convinced I was someone else even though I told him who I was. Anyway. Selavi AKA such is life

Another entertaining audit Kolee. Remember mate, with success comes haters.. I agree, some negative comments are positive criticism that wise could learn from. But many, maybe most will be comments by keyboard warriors or from other auditors, some police. Your doing well, forget the haters!!!

The inspector had a good point. he had a legit concern about his personal safety and that of his family.

Bro honestly one of the best not just that you have done but in the Auditing community. You owned the Inspector, stood for your rights and was just the bigger man in the end. Great work bro really great work. Respect!

I wonder if the calm young officer realises that the reason he got attacked is the inspector's attitude to the public?

Here's an additional string to your bow - Prevention of Crime Act 1953 defines a public place. In short, if access (at the time in question) is not controlled, it becomes a public place.
