No official date announced till now by Metro Rail but rumours are for Aug 15. Let's wait and watch.

Construction is suppose to cut and cover. It should be visible above ground. Isn't it??

Pehle diaphragm walls construct hoga, only then "cutting will begin". Diaphragm walls ka construction progress kitna hua no way to tell unless you have a sub-sonic sensor

@@SubhamPalcyd Plus until that issue of where EXACTLY New Barrackpore station would come up ar at least station box er walls er kaaj shuru hocche, U don't think they will start with the actual "cutting" between the walls.

@@SubhamPalcyd I mean, slower work = less machine rent per day + less manpower khorcha per day. Untill there are issues in the line, we can't really blame Senbo (the constructing contractor) for saving on costs until RVNL (the project executor) clears things up.
