My 1st visit to Kolkata during 1975 . Remembering Howrah Railway stn walked through Howrah Bridge in the same street to Esplanade. No changes in this street . On my other visits till 1981 , I didn't came to this streets only from DAMDAM Airport routes to Esplanade.

My God, what an awesome city, Kolkata! People look friendly, simple and busy with their daily routine work. I was thinking something different about our Kolkata, but after watching this video, I realized the real face and nature of Kolkata city. It is too good. I like the simplicity of Kolkata (WB) people. Burra Bazar or Baro Bazaar,as it's pronounced in Bengali, is one of the most interesting places in whole India.It's only comparable to the alleys of Varanasi and old Delhi . We love this place. Thanks for making a blog about it.

If you are still in Kolkata, i would request you to walk from Nazrul Tirtha to Biswa Bangla Gate, it is in Newtown, a smart city of Kolkata metropolitan city. It is very modern and panned city.
