Dear all,i appreciate this lady on the podcast. This is a fight for justice against a woman,not a doctor, medical issue, this injustice has happened inside the MEDICAL college,the victim was held down by a female doctor,and the qty of fluid mentioned is 151mgs, equal to some 10-12men,so the criminals were from within, now the public should also ask how safe are patients with these criminal minded medicos,and who will protect the patient's and attenders, a lot of doctors are arrogant and make a lot of mistakes especially after the lockdown, maybe theyare tired of saving lives because of these 37hrs shift, The doctor victim is a martyr, she innocently went to the principal,but she has made a change, these details above are the forwards we have received as updates, We would appreciate if u get more details Voices should be raised continuously to stop injustice to women in general, women are the integral part of society, Mothers who don't teach their children to have control should be ready to mourn the loss of criminal children

I believe that there are few takeaways from this interview. This incident can be summarised as: - Sr Doctor Vs Jr Doctor - Male atrocities against Female - Powerful person Vs Common citizen - Front end medical professional against Common citizen - Political crime Vs Common citizen So many angles to be looked into by the investigation team Too much of a job to be done by CBI and opposition parties in WB. Current central Government, SC, HC should think through and find a final solution. Too much of atrocities on common person in India by the powerful and connected people. The alarming reality of sexual violence in India is reflected in the staggering statistics and harrowing stories that have shaken the nation to its core. In 2021 alone, over 31,677 rape cases were reported, averaging about 86 rapes per day. This pervasive violence, often targeting minors, exposes not just the physical and emotional trauma inflicted on victims, but also the systemic failures of a justice system that too often lets perpetrators walk free. With a conviction rate of just 39.3%, the majority of rapists evade accountability, revealing deep flaws in both judicial processes and societal attitudes that blame and silence victims. The horrors of Nirbhaya, Kathua, Unnao, Hathras, Shakti Mills, Uttarakhand Nurse, and Kolkata Doctor "Abhaya" underscore the ongoing crisis of violence against women across the country. From Hyderabad to Kolkata, women are under siege, facing unspeakable violence and injustice at every turn. How many more daughters must suffer before our demands for justice and safety are finally heard? Misogyny and patriarchy perpetuate rape culture by normalizing violence and justifying it through harmful gender norms. Misogynistic attitudes dehumanize women and reduce them to objects, while patriarchal norms enforce male dominance and control. This creates an environment where sexual violence is trivialized and victim-blaming is rampant, making it difficult for survivors to seek justice and support. It's time to confront the brutal cycle of violence and demand accountability for every crime. We must stand firm against those who deflect the focus from this issue or spread misinformation about false accusations. The real crisis lies in the relentless violence women face and the urgent need for effective justice and protection. Stand with us in the fight for justice. Stand against the violence. Hi Dr Rakshita I am very proud of your dear,also appreciate your boldness n initiation god bless you dear . I am a retired teacher from Mumbai, I feel our society as well as law both are responsible for all these kind of incidents 1st hand solution is stringent law towards the rapist , eg torture n punish him in the public n creat threat to those men that they should never ever dare to do so. I guess,some of the gulf countries follow such patterns 2nd is to create respect for female with gender equality ideas by families i mean parents n grand parents should themself stop illtreating or disrespecting the girl child 3rd is to teach martial art to all children from their childhood so that each girl would be physically strong enough to defend n fight such extraordinary situations I also want to thank Ayushman for being a good gentleman to discuss the topic so boldly n appropriately. I would conclude saying that some centuries ago Sati pratha was common n compulsory in Bengal n Raja Ram Mohan Roy Pioneer of social reform movement with the help of his associates could bring an end to it , India being male dominated society it may take some more time to overcome the gender inequality , how much the victim might have suffered that thought itself brings tears n so scary for us, imagine how bad the parents would feel ? I wish justice in this case should not be delayed , in Maharashtra too everywhere Doctors supported this protest n kept their clinic closed for a day n also all females kept their Dp with candle picture lastly. I pray for the departed soul iI am sure that Goddess Durga will surely punish the culprit even if they try to escape from the clutches of law

This creates an environment where sexual violence is trivialized and victim-blaming is rampant, making it difficult for survivors to seek justice and support. While some suggest that women should take personal safety measures-such as learning martial arts, carrying pepper spray, or using self-defense tools-these suggestions miss the larger systemic issues. Personal precautions alone cannot address the root causes of sexual violence or the systemic failures that allow it to persist. Safety should be a collective responsibility, not just a personal one. Blaming women for not protecting themselves shifts the burden away from the perpetrators and the societal structures that fail to prevent and address violence. Ensuring safety and preventing violence is a shared responsibility involving everyone-men, women, communities, and institutions. The focus should be on changing societal attitudes, reforming legal systems, and creating environments where women are respected and protected. It’s time to confront the brutal cycle of violence and demand accountability for every crime. But hw can one defend oneself wen der is a gang attack and wen it's very well planned..
@myscribbles_2 ай бұрын
See I understand the intention in which you've said it which I appreciate but i believe this is not the solution..how can a 5 year old child self defend herself... I'm a 28 year old women...from every small age itself women face lot of assault or experience bad touch.. When such thing happen to a small girl below 18 even if we know self defense or have pepper spray there's a shock that comes to us and can't move or understand what's happening... And do you think women or girl walk freely without having fear.. Each and everyplace we step out of our house we are afraid.. If I'm sitting in a crowded bus or train there'll be men who stare at private parts.. If someone is sitting next to any women we are afraid whether that person bad touch us... If we have to walk just outside our house and go nearby shop in an empty road we are afraid whether someone hides or assault us.. There is a constant fear in every women in India.. From the very small age of 11 to 12 till now that fear exist.. Now think about men.. Do they ever fear all these.. Never... The solution is not girls taking defense or protecting us.. It's time to analyze the actual issue... What's making men to think or rape women... For that upbringing of a boy is important.. In order to upbring a boy so that he respect women starts from the family.. If we need such family , there should not be any abusive atmosphere.. If a boy grow up seeing drunk father hitting mother will become like that... In order to prevent abuse in every family there should be financial stability, better education,respecting every human,there should not be any drug or alcohol usage.. And then again porn addiction should be stopped unrealistic porn video should be banned in India..... All these can be done only if we have a responsible government who really want everyone in India to actually develop.. Which is lacking in our country because every political party and everyone in highest position is corrupted in our country....

After i got to know about momita, i didn’t sleep for 2 days. I was thinking about her all the time. Not just female doctors but all women deserves to get protection. Really loved this prod cast. Watching from 🇵🇰

I am a foreigner but right now I am so frustrated. When will the justice get served 😢? Why the hell no more updates about this case? How can people who can do more work for this case be so insensitive and careless to this situation? Justice must be served and prevailed hurry up!!!!!!!

IMA should decide some laws and rules which has to follow all the hospitals. 1)only 8 hours duty for doctors like working on payroll in hospitals 2)No thesis submission to hospitals It should be on digital link with time periods 3)such rules they think discussing with any PG doctors who suffered in their time which will help future PG doctors.

We need to spread awareness about many , unspoken harassment against women at large, not ignoring men . However the male dominance and " how can she go ahead, let me pull her down , is prevalent "
