Kolkata Lady Doctor Murder Update: इंडियन मेडिकल असोसिएशन (IMA) और दिल्ली मेडिकल असोसिएशन (DMA) के आह्वान पर शनिवार को दिल्ली में भी सरकारी और प्राइवेट अस्पतालों में डॉक्टरों की स्ट्राइक रही। सोमवार से दिल्ली में सभी प्रमुख सरकारी अस्पतालों में रेजिडेंट डॉक्टरों की स्ट्राइक के बीच शनिवार को प्राइवेट अस्पतालों के डॉक्टर भी स्ट्राइक में उतर आए और इसका खामियाजा मरीजों को भुगतना पड़ा। पूरी दिल्ली में ओपीडी सेवा प्रभावित रहीं। डॉक्टरों ने कई जगह प्रदर्शन किए। कोलकाता में ट्रेनी महिला डॉक्टर के साथ रेप और फिर हत्या के मामले में देशभर के डॉक्टरों में आक्रोश है।
Kolkata Doctor Rape Case, IMA Nationwide Strike Live, August 17: The 24-hour nationwide strike called by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) in protest against the rape and murder of the woman doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, which began at 6 am Saturday drew to a close at 6 am this morning. Meanwhile, after a meeting with the IMA and other doctors’ associations, the union health ministry on Saturday announced its decision to form a committee which shall suggest measures to ensure the safety of healthcare professionals in the country.
