Do you know the part of Calcutta through which you took this ride? It might well have been Park Street where you stopped. I suspect the bulk of it was through an area called Park Circus but I could be mistaken.

I did meet the rickshaw guy on Park st. And we did that circle through those streets. You may be correct- Park circus
