huge respect, while balkan women sit down and just judge others at the party, you’ll be giving lessons to others how kolo is done while your husband is proud to have you as a wife and as a great partner to be with and actually be enthusiastic for new culture and try something new💪🏽🍻

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!! I cant tell you how long I've tried to find someone to teach me Kolo. When I've asked my relatives, they've always said "Its just something you do, I cant teach it." And the few videos I've found on KZbin usually have someone doing a complicated step while facing me. Your video is really effective because you slowly teach the basic step, and then show it while dancing with your back to us. Thank you so much for making this video.

Great lesson, thank you. I am part of the Bosnian community in Albania and was taught the language and the traditions. But it was hard to practice music and dances during the dictatorship so there wasn't much to pass on.

This dance has nothing to do with Bosnia. It is called Užičko kolo. Užice is a town i central Serbia. People all around ex-Yugoslavia dance it because it is very easy to learn, but the dance is Serbian.

@Kosename word "kolo" means a repeating circle. For example when we want to say "second round" (of a competition) we say "drugo kolo". Kolo is anything that is round and repetitive.
@Marco-bf4uu2 жыл бұрын
@@serbsrb yeah and no. In multiple regions of croatia we also do similiar steps to tamburica rhythms or gusle. For example in dalmatia during different types of kolo. In Posavina, Hercegovina, Slavonia partly. In regions of western and northern croatia.
