We hired a narrator, so if it’s AI, we must be paying some incredibly talented computer genius who’s also communicating with us through their creation. Our narrator does a lot of acting bits, like parodying Arnold, and I’ve never seen a text-to-speech AI model that can actually act-let alone hit the right moments I, as the writer, didn’t even highlight in the script.

What a privilege to watch this icon of a movie's production. Of course it must have been a complete nightmare to make real but video tech plus digital was extremely basic at the time. James Cameron obsession with his vision is supremely key but his ability to get people to DO it is quite rare. How? Thank u for this upload. T2 is one of my all time greats. Even today. I am 58years old and I am a visual design lecturer. I still cant fault the blend of tech being used to serve the narrative. The story is the point, not the VFX. Awesome.

I forgot about this until I saw this video but when I was 16 years old, I and my coworkers were able to watch T2 a full 24 hours before it released in the theater for the general public-solely because we worked at a big movie theater in Reno, Nevada. I wish I knew at the time how big of a deal this movie would turn out to be, but I’m grateful that I was working there at exactly that moment in time. I first realized how big the movie was when, for the entire first week of the release, it was not only completely sold out, but dozens of people would pay for other movies and then would sneak in and were willing to just stand throughout the whole movie. We let them do it because they were very respectful to the people in seats because they didn’t want to risk getting kicked out. Being able to see it early feels like an enormous privilege that I didn’t deserve.

Best sequel ever, Tho' Die Hard 2 was brilliant. Anyway, a coupla years ago T2 was screened in 4D at a cinema close to me. The Cinema was packed, no empty seats. What I didn't know was this was a full interactive screening. The seats moved in time to the movie, they were chained to the floor ,there were some 3D elements and smells from the movie were sprayed out from the seats in front, like rubber burning, cordite from gunshots, food scents, perfume etc. Hell, there were even raindrops falling from the ceiling! The Surround sound was incredible, It was like being "IN" the movie. This was my favourite cinema experience ever! Would like them to do this with other movies, but maybe choices are limited... Suggestions welcome, but they have to be as action packed as T2 !!!
