'Kalankini Radha' is an old Baul song referring to the parable of Radha and Krishna. Kalankini means ill-reputed - particularly one who is noted for illicit romances. In the Gaudiya line of poetry prevalent in Bengal, the tale goes that Radha is in love with Krishna, but is married to someone else. In this song, Radha is being advised not to go fetch water from Yamuna as that is where she is likely to meet Krishna - and her meetings with Krishna has already brought her a lot of ill-repute. সবার কাছে প্রথমে মাফ চেয়ে নিচ্ছি এবং সকল ধর্মের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা রেখে আমি জানতে চাচ্ছি এই গানটির মুল অর্থটা কি একটু কে ব্যাখ্যা করে লিখবেন। মুলত গানটি আমার খুব ভালো লাগছে, কিন্তু গানটির অর্থ আমি বুঝি না।
