I absolutely love the design and color. The only thing I would change are the 2 white pieces on the wall. We are selling our home and on the outside, the house is a dark green. All the exterior plugs I went ahead and painted them the same color as the house and they look so much better. On the light colored walls, the plates and other things are not as obvious as when you go really dark. Again BEAUTIFUL Job!! I'm thinking I would like something like this on our dining room wall! Thanks for the idea and instruction!!

@@sbranson1 To be honest, we put 2 boards up and created how wide and marked it and cut it. Hard to explain. Sorry. Get you someone to hold a board while u hold the other and create how wide/narrow.

Good rule to live by also you shoukd try to spray it on. Re t a sprayer or buy thr grack project or wagner flexio 3000. You will get better results. Those brush lines will appear on a gloss enamel. I didn't want to criticize the lady, but ya. I did 2 accent walls already working on my 3rd. I learned from my previous Install

That option didn’t work for us because you still have to nail them to the wall and putty the holes and repaint but only you will know the best option for you!

I have a wall like this in my house but want to remove a piece to mount a tv , what do you think is the best way since you kno how it is attached to the wall ? Thanks in advance

Personally, if the wall is covered, you may have to remove the slats in the section only where the tv will be mounted and then cut the slats to size and attach it back to the wall. Your slats will meet towards the center behind the tv but not fully if that makes sense.

It looks stunning. qq: should we nail the frame and other wood peices only to studs or is it ok to nail any where to the wall? I want to try this type of accent wall but few videos say nail only to studs. I am confused.

I would say its your preference. We didn’t. We used a brad nailer. You don’t have to.

I did a 9 x 24 feet and mine had less 45 deg angles tha. This and 32 was short.

Thank you! The main wall was painted a matte/eggshell color and we painted the wood strips separately with a more glossy finish.
