I just 'stole' one from the Clearance Dept at Cabelas in Acworth GA. You don't want to know how LITTLE I paid. Only one they had in the store. Total luck!

What I think this would be handy for, if the thing even has enough power to lift it, would be an offset blade, so I could make two swipes of the driveway with one go during the winter!
@Colorado1derful5 жыл бұрын
This is a landscaping blade for moving dirt around and its located behind your vehicle. But you're right to question the Kolpin's power. We had a snow plow blade that fit on the front of the cat that did a bang-up job of moving snow (see Snow in Colorado part 2 video).

This woman is making the frustrated, should do a remake once she knows at least half of what she is talking about and once the gentleman has had ample time to get accustomed to the neat implement system. would sound less annoying and the guy wouldnt be struggling being put on the spot. Let's see part 2

I wanted to buy this system, but after when I saw this video I try to looking for another system. It seems to be very weak!!! Almost die when it have to lift up some kilograms equipments.

I think what you are hearing is that we used a battery that wasn't fully charged. The power comes from your battery. The only thing I did NOT like about the Kolpin on our Arctic Cat Prowler was that there were times I needed to raise the equipment higher than it would go for better clearance when repositioning. We have a lot of uneven ground on our property. Though, raising it higher may not be a problem with a different make ATV/UTV or if your property isn't very uneven.

Thank you for your answer.I decided we will make together at home with linear actuator, because the Kolpin's price is very expensive.If we make; that cost will be 30-40% price only.

How would this rake and blade handle sandy material? I read you sold yours already
@Colorado1derful3 жыл бұрын
I would guess they would handle it okay. We had 4-6" rocks, some even bigger, hard-packed in the ground and the ground was very uneven. Didn't work well.

I’m going to drag with my FJ cruiser with a 10” drop to accommodate my hitch height. Fingers crossed.

I wouldn't purchase again. Pull-behind tools didn't work well for our application. We have very uneven ground in the mountains with lots of fist-sized, and larger, rocks. Needed something more heavy duty. We sold to someone with flat ground which is where I think these would work better.

Where can I get the swivel hook up that attaches to the top plate of the rake?
@Colorado1derful2 жыл бұрын
We got all of it at Cabelas.

What was your overall impression? I’ve read mixed reviews on the durability of the equipment.
@Colorado1derful5 жыл бұрын
We only used it for one project then sold it. Wasn't a good fit for our uneven, rocky mountain land. I wouldn't buy again.

How high up will that lift go
@Colorado1derful2 жыл бұрын
Sorry we no longer have it or I'd measure for you. When I worked our uneven ground, my experience was that I wanted it to raise higher than it does, when I wanted to re-position. If the hitch on the Arctic Cat had been higher, it would have been ok, so it also depends on the height of your hitch. You can see in the video, it raises about to the height of your hitch.
