Hey I have just bought this guitar - for the ones that are wondering: it really sounds this nice as in the video! I had a budget which is 2x price of this guitar and tried and listened to many guitars in that price range to approx 500USD (Sigma, Taylor, Tanglewood...) both normal Dreadnought and also Slope Shoulder, but the balance of the other guitars was very very poor in comparison to this one - basically once you start strumming and add a little bit of intensity they will all go into a super noisy bassy sound that will completely overtake the mids and in most cases also the highs. This guitar has very good balance and will respond very well to the intensity of your strumming so you can play very dynamically and not loose your mids/highs - which is a must for me. Also it is super comfortable to play, probably due lower tension of the 628mm. I have not tried the Pickup yet and expect it to be "bad" but honestly it is not an important criterion for me due to possibility of modifying the sound later (in the combo, computer...), neither the other guitars had a good pickup from what I have heard, for example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpzRmIKHeqZ9bpo the pickup is also bad even though the price is 2x of this guitar. Hello Michal, how are you? Ask me a question, did your guitar change the color of the scale with this time playing? It seems that the fretboard in ovangkol is painted.. I acquired a guitar like this and in the tests it released a finger in the hand line of the fretboard.

Hey I own this guitar - I have picked up this one even though I had 2x the budget especially because of the balance of the sound could not be matched by the other guitars 2x this price, It is very good. I mean you can really play very dynamically on this guitar and it will respond very well.

I tried not this one, but a same but cheaper model (EARTH 50) with some more expensive SIGMA and Cort wins - pretty great instruments I have to say. As you hear hear with the mic - pretty wide dinamics, great sound.

Pretty sure its solid adirondack top, solid mahogany back and laminated mahogany sides. I have the L300vf sounds amazing :)

I noticed that Cort discontinued the model Earth 300ssf (Cort seems to do that to many models). Besides the pickup/electronics system, what are the differences and similarities between the 100ssf and the 300ssf ? Both models are hard to get in the USA. Here the price for the 100ssf is near the cost of the 300 but I'd have to pay for shipment of a 300ssf from Europe or Asia.

300 series are all solid, the 100 are solid top with laminated back and sides...your frustation with buying cort in the usa is same mind trying to buy matins in asia Martins in asia are very expensive...so i can buy a solid cort for less than half the price of a mim martin x series.... look at sigma guitar website for these gibson copies, they have 3 levels to choose from, they are available in usa but under a different brand name as sigma has trading restrictions in usa...hope this helps

@@jojo-wo3ns Thank you. Sigma guitars are sold under the name AMI in the United States. Very nice guitars for the price. I can get many of the Cort models here from the standard series , earth series, gold series and Luce series but for some reason the 100SSF and 300SSF are hard to get. I have fallen in love with the tone of the 300SSF. I hope to find one some day. I also like the L200atv and the Gold O8 or A8. These are my favorite Cort models. I currently just have an L100-O and most of my other guitars are electrics. I like your guitar demo videos. Your playing is great and makes it easy to clearly hear the tone of these guitars.

@@Kevlarel84 i just place an order for the 100ssf just this month. But truthfully i think cort earth series is bang for buck. Worth every cents invested. Of their oc blackwood and the as oc4 all solid mahagony is also good in term of tone and looks. IMHO so far cort guitars are good is value paid.

@@MichallPersonal thanks! Saw your comments and I also agree after having listened billion acoustic guitars that for this price range (or double) this guitar sounds really great. Takes out bass normally reserved for higher cost guitars. I've decided to buy it and will recieve it at the end of this week.

@@wmsoundpresents It's OK, we've talked in the past and you speak well. :) I would love to own this model, but I'm afraid it will sound bad due to short scale length. However, judging by this video, it sounds just great. Would you say it sounds as good as a regular Cory Earth 100?
